Some I would like to look at are tsunamis and earthquakes. They are almost the same thing because a tsunami is an under water earthquake then sends a huge wave crashing into to the shore. An earthquake is when we feel it on land and there is no tsunami after. Another one I am looking at is a forest fire. For example, a tsunami causes a disaster that has a big wave over your house or you if you need to hold on to something to  not get pulled under the water. Also some other disasters are  tornado,hurricanes,earthquakes,landslide,forest fire and many more . With a forest fire it can spread really quickly  so you should get out as soon as possible. With all natural disasters we have people that work on many ways to keep us safe from them. There are many different kinds of natural disasters and some states have natural disasters more often then others. Such as California has wild fires and land slides much more often then Rhode Island. Rhode Island has natural disasters like blizzards and sometimes hurricanes which are not likely to happen. Natural disasters are something that can severely damage or kill people. Blizzards are sometimes so bad that all you see is white from the snow. Wild fires in California are hard to prevent and hard to get rid of. Tsunamis are very deadly because the waves are so high up it is hard to get away from them. Tornadoes are another thing that is hard to get away from because the move so fast. These natural disasters can include billions of dollars in repairs each year and 1,000+ deaths on some storms. When I think of natural disasters I think of things like floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and things like that. But one main thing that always sticks in my head seems to be wind.

There are many different types of natural disasters. As an example we have the water section that includes floods and tsunamis. Then we have the wind section including sand storms, hurricanes, and tornadoes. Then there's the odd section. Like volcanoes, avalanches, sinkholes, and earthquakes. 

There is only one thing I wonder about one disaster. Its the earthquake. I've always wondered if an earthquake can split a crack around the whole earth. If it did ever happen, I would like to know if the earth would just be in half forever...

I wonder...How do epidemics travel through an area so fast. Epidemics are when an infectious disease spreads quickly through a population. The Black Death of the 1340's is a well known example of an epidemic. I wonder how disasters like hurricanes can be predicted. Did you know that the natural disaster that causes the most deaths is floods? This makes sense to me because floods are unpredictable because they occur underwater. People who live on the coast are the most vulnerable  to floods. The different types of disasters are tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, blizzards, fires, hurricanes, volcanoes, gusts, landslides, avalanches, droughts, dust storms,  famines, floods, heat waves, ice bergs,  lightning strikes, and much much more.

What I wonder is that what could we do to stop these events?
