         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hallway assistance from other teachers and IA's during testing times. (Monitoring stations)<br><br>Decompression for the kids in other classes if able<br><br>Testing set up in a way in which kids have a block schedule (Similar to what 6th grade does) and not a class period to finish sections of the test. Classes remain together (familiarity with class group), and with content area teacher that aligns with test (English teacher with English test, Science teacher with Science test, Math teacher with Math test).<br><br>To reduce distractions, testing block occur before 5th period, due to distraction with passing times for lunches. Testing blocks in morning, with 5th, 6th and 7th period used to give students a break/decompress.<br><br>Possibility of partnership with local businesses to give students breakfast, snacks, etc. (McMuffins for everyone! and Hashbrowns!)<br><br>Adjust bell schedule to coincide with block scheduling for longer test times, or no bells at all to reduce distractions.<br><br>Maintain familiarity and consistency for all students to give them the best opportunity to succeed on all test<br><br>Reviewing test taking strategies with students<br><br>CELEBRATE SUCCESSES!!!<br>There needs to be some type of reward for those students who achieved their goal, improved their scores, or remained in g/b zone. Social hour, activity day, or reward at the end of week/day. FOR EACH TEST!</div>]]></description>
