This also means that there will be a reduction in environmental impact.

5) I will start to be more eco- friendly by not buying things that I do not need just for fun.

6) - Share it on social networking sites
     - Share it during conversations with friends / families

Upcycling is to reuse an object in such a way as to create a product of a better quality. It is a good way to be environmentally friendly. It reduces the need for production using new or raw materials which means a reduction in air pollution, water pollution and greenhouse gases. I have learnt that upcycling is simple to understand and we just have to put in effort to see the results. Recycle and reuse are some sustainable practices. I will try to suggest ways to be more sustainable to others. Some methods to share can be through online quizzes and social media platforms.

- upcycling is transforming waste materials or unwanted products into a better and new product; basically giving an unwanted product a new life and purpose
-I've learnt the different ways of composting techniques and the different type of consumer food waste
-the most important thing I've learnt is that everyone really plays a part in contributing to our global food waste. Singapore alone can produce 774,000 tonnes of food waste each year, which is very frightening if we think about it. Every citizen should play their part in reducing the amount of food we waste.
-upcycling can benefit the environment by reducing the pollutants of air, land and water in the processing of new goods, as well as preventing additional natural resources from being used.
-When buying groceries with my parents, I will remind them to buy only what we need for that week and not to buy too much.
-through social media platforms or through conversations with family and friends

- Upcycling is the transformation of useless products into new products that can put to better use.

- I learnt that food waste has many different impacts be it environmentally , economically or socially. and ways to prevent avoidable food waste.

- The most important thing I've learnt is that if just in Singapore, the amount of food wasted in a year can reach up to 744 million kg of food waste, it would mean that the amount of food wasted in the entire world would probably be a few hundreds or thousand times more. If we all were to play our part and not waste food, even if it's just a small amount, we would still be able to help cut down on the total amount of food waste in the entire world.

- It would reduce the need for raw materials.

- I'll only buy what I need and order what i can finish. this way I won't keep buying unnecessary food and end up not eating them.

- Share with friends and family or through social media.
