They are 36 children. 
 At the beginning, the Romina introduced me, and she explained to children why I was there and that after winter holidays I would be your English teacher . They were really kind and curious because of my presence there.
 First of all, I took my attention that Romina talked the most of the time in English and they followed her quite well. I loved it!
 As I could see they work with Our Discovery Island 2, Pupil and activity book, they enjoyed so much that book; and Romina asked me if I could work with the book to follow it; however she  gave me freedom to develop the topic: Pets as I like, and that it is not necessary to use the book every class. 
 She started the class asking to students about the day, the weather and the temperature. Then she invited to students to play a game, she described some students and they had to guess who was the student.
 To continue with, she asked that open their Pupil's book on page 16 (the picture is on the wall). Here, she asked about the aliens that they could see on that page, and they played again the description game, where the teacher described some aliens and they had to guess. Then she invited to do that between them, a child described it and the rest had to guess. 
 Second, the teacher played the audio of the song, and firstly they listened, then they worked on the structures; constructing together...'have you got...', and the teacher wrote down the structures on the board. Finally, they copied on their notebooks.
 Next, the teacher asked that marked the structures in their books and when they finish they listened to the song again, but this time, the teacher divided the class into three lines. One line had to sing the question part and the other two lines had to sing the answers. Also, they marked the words that they did not know as teeth, neck. 
 Finally, she asked some questions about what they have learned during the class. 
 In general, the class was very nice and active, it means, that in spite of that the students talked a lot, they worked as the same way. I enjoyed the class so much!.

Then, she played the song again and together they sang the song reading it from the pupil's book. When they finished, the teacher again asked the same question from the song encouraged students to ask yes - no. 
I loved the way in which the students answered using the structures that they have learned in the previous classes. Next, the teacher asked about the day, weather and temperature, as usual.
To continue with, the teacher used again the aliens from the song to invite students to guess who was everyone, but this time they played with their partner. Then she asked that open their books (pupil) on page 19. Here the students had three people with their descriptions mixed, so she encouraged students to understand, she asked some questions about their physical appearance, when they finished talking about the pictures, they developed the activity. 
 To finish the class, the teacher together with the students, corrected the activity.

Here they had three people with a different appearance, so firstly she asked about what they could see on the page, and she asked questions such as: has she got glasses? to encourage students to answer 'yes, she has/ no she hasn't'. When they finished discussing, she played the audio and marked the girl that correspond. They listened twice that audio and finally they checked with the teacher. 
Then, in the second activity, the students had to complete a brief description about the listening, using the words that they had in the box. Here again, they checked with the teacher. 
 I liked the way in which the teacher invited to the whole class to participate and pay attention to the class. To finish that class, she invited some students to read the activity and checked if it was ok.

At the beginning I was quite nervous because there was a big group and as the headteacher reference was that some of them have misbehavior; so I started the class with a hello song.   Then, as the topic is about pets, I stuck some pictures about my pets, Kitty (a cat) and Umma (a dog). Quickly they realized that it was about pets, so I started to ask them if they have pets, the whole class spoke about them.
 Then, I invited them to sit in a circle on the floor to watch a video about pets 'I have a pet' from Super Simple Songs, I had to do that, because the two rooms where there are projectors were busied. They enjoyed a lot that video because it was funny; after the video, I asked about the animals that they could watch on that. 
 In the activities I chose a memo test with flashcards and their names, it was grateful saw the students so happy and enjoying the game!; but previous the game I asked about every pet to check that they remember them.
The second activity, it was about descriptions of every animal, but they were mixed, so they had to read it and guessed who they are. 
To close the class, I played the video again, but this time only the audio, so they had to imitate the animals sounds, and we sang the bye bye song.

Then during the warm-up, I stuck different flashcards on the board to describe it. So I asked questions such as what color? what's this? has it got....? and the parts of the body. Next, we continued working with the 'has it got...' questions to copy and incorporate this structure to describe. In the development stage, we worked with a chant from the Pupil's book (it's on the wall) where they could read 'has it got...'? structure. During this stage, the children were really active and answered enthusiastically every question that I asked. I played the chant and they loved it, so I repeated it once to imitate the structure that they listened.
Once they finished, I asked that open their activity book, where they had an activity similar to the chant, and they had to answer some questions about some animals. 
 The second activity, I stuck two images on the board with several animals and below every animal, they had a number. Then with their partner, they had to choose an animal without saying who animal they chose, and their partner had to ask questions to guess the animal. 
 In the last activity, they had to complete a listening activity from the activity book (it's on the wall). 
To close the class, I recycled the flashcards that I used at the beginning, and I asked different questions with the structure that they learned. In general, the students participated, they were very active and they enjoyed every activity and game. However, I had to stop the class in many ocassions because they spoke a lot and they were quite noisy, but they respected at the moment that I called their attention. I had a great time!

 We sang the hello song as every class, and then I stuck some flashcards on the board to introduce the new topic about conjunction 'but'. I asked different questions recycling the structures that they have learned. Here I asked that tell me a description about the flashcard, for instance: 'it has got long tail' and I copied on the board and I added BUT, and using mime, I wrote after but 'It hasn't got big ears', and I explained the meaning of but. They understood correctly and they incorporated quickly, so I took my attention because I thought that this would be harder to explain. 
To continue with, I divided the class into small groups (about 3/4 members) and I gave different parts of sentences, affirmatives and negatives to put them in order, and I stuck a big white 'afiche' on the board. Here I invited to write their productions where they finished, but they had to add BUT conjunction. 
To continue with the activities, I gave a photocopy where they had to complete it using has/hasn't got (it is on the wall). 
To close the class, I used again the flashcards to ask some questions such as has it got...? to they could answer yes, it has/ no, it hasn't; also I used the conjunction but to remember what they have learned. 
 It was a good class, however, it could be better, with more materials and games, but I did not expect what had happened in the break.

After singing the hello song and greeted them, I started the class using a video in the warm - up stage, in which the students had to guess the shape of the animal that they could watch on it, (it is on the wall). They loved this video and enjoyed a lot, it was grateful saw their faces and how they participated with that.
To continue with, in the development stage, I wanted to teach the different elements that they need to their pets (tin food, house, water, hamster wheel, etc) so I decided to show a video about a pet store, where also they could find those elements. The video will be on the wall. They realized quickly that it was a pet store, so it was really nice how they paid attention to that. Then we continued working with the topic, so after the video, I showed different flashcards about the elements that they need. After I introduced the structure 'they have got' so I stuck two animals on the wall and I explained pointing them, the new structure. They could not realize at the beginning, but when I say that 'it' was only for 0ne animal and 'they' for two or more, they understood correctly. They copied the new structure. We worked with a listening from the pupil's book that had the new structure, it was a song, so they listened and sang it. 
 During the first activity, I gave a sheet of paper, and they had to draw their animal and the elements that they need to take care of their pets. When they finished it, I stuck a big white 'afiche' on the board and I wrote as headline 'Pet Store', then I invited to students to stick their productions.
Again, I had not enough time to complete the second activity, where they had to listen and draw the part of the body that it wasn't. Some classes were not about 40 minutes because the students had the break later, that is why the class was about 30 minutes. So, as Aurelia told me 'control timing', I decided planned shorter activities.

To start the class, in the warm -  up stage, we played bingo with the different pets and the elements from the pet store. Then I sticked different posters on the board with a small description to read about unusual pets (I realized in the class that they were small and the short text would have been bigger), those descriptions mixed all the structures that they have learnt and it was a way to work with reading and writing. The unusual pets were lizard, pig, and tarantula.
Before continuing I asked several questions about the pets' appearance, such as 'has it got...?' 'have they got...? and they would have to answer using the complete structure answer, it means, 'yes, they have got/ no they haven't got'. Then we marked the unusual pets and the most important information: name, age, home, etc. 
Next, I sticked a big white 'afiche' with a big image of a girl with her pet: a snake. Below this image, I wrote 'Name, Age, Home, legs?...' so here, I encouraged students to say what they could see about that pet, so together we completed the most important information and we invented the name and the home. Next, I invited students to pass to the board and complete the information that they have described previously. 
During the activity stage, in the first one, the students had to listen and chose the information (this activity was from the activity book) and the second activity was related to the first, where the students had to complete with the information from the box. 
To close this class, I gave to students a small note for the communication notebook, where I asked a picture about their pets or some animal that they would like. Finally, they sang the bye bye song. 
In this class, I could finish all the activities that I have planned and the students understood correctly every one; so I felt really happy!

It was a great lesson, the most of the students had their pets' picture and they showed enthusiastically with them. So I started greeting to them and singing the hello song. 
Next, I showed students a little box where they could see flashcards about pets and the elements that they have learned. But they couldn't say anything, it was a memo test game; then I stuck a list on the board, with pets' names and some elements, so according to what they saw, they had to tell me what elements or pets they saw. 
In the development stage, I told to students that I had a problem, that a friend sent me a picture (I stuck on the board) but the information was mixed, so I asked help to put them in order. They loved it and they did perfectly. Then I took a card where they could read '...it likes insects' and I explained with mimic and flashcards the meaning of like. They copied the explanation on their notebooks. 
To continue with, I asked that opened their Pupil's book on a page where they had a reading similar to previous works, so they had to read and complete a task 'yes - no' relating to the reading. 
 And in the second activity, they had to write a description using the previous works and the book as a guide. It was amazing to work with this kind of activities where the students can use all the prior knowledge and could write a great description about their pets. In this part, it is important to say that some students hadn't pictures, so for those children, I had extra pictures.
To conclude the class, I gave a little present, it was a small bag with candies and a big emoji. They loved it! and of course, I said thank you, also the teacher, because the whole class was very kind and they helped me to finish this period.
