 I first started by creating an 8 high by 8 width blank sheet and made the grid lines by using the ruler tool and dragged it to make either the 4x4, 2x2, or the 1x1. Then I cropped the image i wanted and sized it to the corresponding size. Dragged it on to the blank sheet. To duplicate image I went to layer and clicked on "duplicate layer", then I flipped horizontal or vertical by going to edit then transform. I kept repeating the same process. 
I really enjoyed doing this project, what i enjoyed the most though was messing around with colors of the image, raising brightness or contrasting and making the image look trippy. My favorite image was the blue flamingo. 
I struggled with having to not mess up the patter. But it was easy to tell where I made the mistake.
If I had to do this over again I would find cooler things to take pictures.
