However, there is debate over the gender pay gap and women are often discouraged from participating in Male dominated professions. Additionally there is a double standard in how women are expected to act. Women in ethnic/minority groups are suppressed in America and other countries. People of varies genders and sexualities are constantly put down or viewed as weird, or ill. Everyone is confined to sexist social media advertisements, because, the models are usually never plus-sized, have facial deformities, or skin imperfections.
