It was taken at place called M50 in Shanghai. I particualr like the way that the couple are looking at me the photographer. I also like the way it juxtaposes the old and new in China. I went back to Shanghai in July hoping to take some more pictures with the graffiti as a backdrop. Unfortunately, it no longer exists. It has been knocked down to make way for a new building!!!

The picture shows part of the trinity nuclear (counter)strike of China, the only P5 member in Asia. The reason I put the picture here is simple. I would like to show that Asia, especially modern Asia has never been repelled from the most advanced technologies in the world. As for nuclear military usage, it can be regarded only by European powers or "Western" powers (Soviet Union can be defined as European country). Looking back through the history, technologies originated from the "Western" world used to be difficultly mastered by "Oriental" countries, however modernized world has completely let the previous consequence gone. I have been to Paris and the transportation there seems unconvenient to me, compared with my experience back in Ningbo.
