As people across America were shutting off their TVs and being disinterested in the game, Roger Goodell called his corrupt ref squad and told them to start making the game interesting so that he could make more money. In the next Patriots drive, 4 holding calls were called on the Falcons in 4 3rd downs. After the Patriots scored that drive, the Falcons drove back with 2 minutes left in the game. Julio Jones made an amazing catch, putting the Falcons into field goal range. Knowing that this FG would win the Falcons the game putting them ahead 11 with 1:30 left, Goodell once again told the refs to call a holding call that pushed the Falcons out of field goal position. Since they were out of FG position, this forced them to pass the ball to get back into it. Unfortunately, the Falcons were sacked and pushed out of FG position. This is when Goodell realized that the Patriots were bound to win and told the refs to lay off the penalties unless the Patriots were in danger. During the 2 point conversion to tie the game, there were clearly 2 blocks down field that allowed the WR an easy 2pt conversion. After bringing out a double sided coin to make sure that the Pats won the toss, the corruption went out of hand once the Falcons were called for a Pass Interference on the goal line. To put a cherry on top, the winning play was not a Touchdown.
