I liked this image because some photos that i added are really obvious but some are more subtle and you have to look harder to see them, they blend it better whereas more are in contrast to the whole photo.

Drawing this was easy because i had to original to look back to but i also changed a few things by laving the middle of the puddle white to show the face off and also blending the arms in so they look more natural, i made his face angry almost to show like him being wet, uncomfortable and fed up. This would be a grumpy character in the background, not a main happy character.

I also added annotation to each of these characters to summarise what i was intending for it to look like and what emotions i wanted.


I also decided to draw some of the inside out characters as an experiment and i ended up liking how they ended up; i think i prefer drawing when i have something to look at and take ideas from or i am copying something. I didn't want to ruin them with colour so i only did one character in full colour, and i prefer just the pencil response rather than colour.

My favourite initial idea was the ocean and coral reef research and how important they are to the ocean.

I think it made it very unclear that this was a revolving circle so I changed the style of my final piece to more of a whirlpool from my initial ideas. After creating this I added a few drop shadows to some of the shells to make it look like the sun was shining on top of it, like someone had just made this on the sand at the beach. I like the range of colours I used because I wanted them to be more pastel rather than bright neon colours.
