Of course, the focus of these topics is set within unique contexts, although in my personal view all supervision sessions should share similar characteristics in terms of providing a critically reflective mirror, moreover ensuring mutually constructive feedback is exchanged. I would envisage this feedback to be enabling and supportive, whilst at the same time highlighting challenging learning aims and outcomes; ultimately, increasing my critical reflective practice skills, self-awareness and encouraging my professional and personal development.
