Appeal to Authority is when a celebrity or someone of importance helps your decision on picking and choosing something. Example: Donald Trump had many celebrities endorsing him such as Sarah Palin, Charlie Sheen, Mike tyson..etc People might not like Trump But if they see some of their favourite celebs wanting to vote for him that will probably change their mind and vote for Trump too just because their favourite celeb is going to.
