Reception had a very exciting trip to Wagamama on Thursday! They dressed up in chefs’ hats and aprons and dove straight into the experience. Each child chose fruits and vegetables to make their own custom juices, weighed out fresh ingredients for their lunch, and watched in awe as the chefs cooked everything right in front of them.

We were so impressed by how willing they were to try new things, how curious they were and how respectful they remained throughout the visit.

PE day for Reception Class is on Mondays 

This term in our PSHE lessons,  Year 1 have been learning about jealousy and talking about our feelings. Along the way, we discovered our own strengths and learned that everyone is special, unique and brilliant at different things!

Year 2 have been learning about body language and discovering how our bodies can tell others how we are feeling— even without words!

PE days for Year 1 & Year 2 are on Mondays and Wednesdays 

In Computing, Year 3 and 4 have been using keynote on their iPads to create a self-portrait line drawing animation.

They took a photograph of themselves and then used the opacity, line drawing and colour fill tools to make their photograph come to life. They could colour match their individual features and produce a self-portrait animation. They really enjoyed using their creative and computing skills in this task and their personalities have also shone through their own unique piece of work.

Well done! 

PE days for Year 3 & Year 4 are Tuesdays & Thursdays 

Sports coaches, Jess and Marc-Anthony, enjoyed meeting the children during Monday’s assembly.

They led some fun stretches and invited volunteers to try out gymnastics and tennis demonstrations. They explained that their gymnastics and tennis sessions are a great way for children to stay active, build confidence, and have fun with friends in a familiar school environment.

• Gymnastics: Children use school equipment such as mats, trampettes, ribbons, balls and beams, along with warm-up and cool-down routines.

• Tennis: Children develop ball skills, balance, racket technique and learn the basics through engaging games and activities.

The children have been exploring the vibrant world of street art, taking inspiration from real muralists to create their own climate‑themed artworks. Using wooden panels as their canvases, they designed bold, colourful murals that highlight important messages about protecting our planet. The project encouraged creativity and thoughtful discussion about how art can inspire positive change in the world.

If your child has to be collected from school and taken to hospital or to the GP after an illness, accident or incident at school, please can we remind everyone to let us know any results or diagnosis of the injury or illness as soon as possible. There are some injuries or incidents that we must report to Surrey and need your co-operation to be able to complete the necessary forms.
