It is a term lacking a specific definition but I believe it means that someone is connected to their inner self. It is saying Grace before meals. It is a way of thanking God for being a provider for you and your family and that you appreciate the presence that he has in your life.

When saying Grace there is one symbol that people can do but is optional to different groups. Holding hands brings the feeling of unity between everyone which could be very important in some people's lives.
I believe that this ritual is very effective in helping a person practice their spiritual life because of the regularity of it. Saying Grace could become an important part of someone's life because they can be appreciative of God and what he has given for them.

When we look at the world with an attitude of wonder and awe, we become aware that the world is filled with spiritual life. Part of spirituality is being willing to admit that something is beyond your comprehension. Science has its place in understanding the world but it will never have all the answers. When we look at the universe and into our own hearts and see that which we don't understand, we know that we have touched that which is unknowable and holy.

They are able to say anything they would like to him in this short period of time. It is a personal prayer that you can say on behalf of yourself or a small group of people which can link to unity.

I believe they could inspire others to look at life in a similar way i do - to take the good things with the bad.
