         <title>5 Resources for Classroom Management</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.) <a href="http://www.newmanagement.com/ccapp/classcardsapp.html"><strong>http://www.newmanagement.com/ccapp/classcardsapp.html</strong></a></div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; This website was intended for classroom management skills.&nbsp; It has many helpful resources to look at.&nbsp; Some neat ideas are that it includes applications that can be used to increase student’s involvement.&nbsp; One of the apps is called the CLASS CARDS application, where as a teacher you can access a students list that can help better engage students by calling random names selected by the app.&nbsp; Next it provides a way to incorporate music in the class with another app and provides songs that can also be used and download it to better help students concentrate and work along with music.&nbsp; This website is enriched with many resources that can help students feel included and therefore will increase engagement and positive behavior.<br>2.)&nbsp; <a href="https://www.teachingchannel.org/classroom-behavior-landing-page?gclid=CPb0tqfe1NMCFdmPswod-aIClQ"><strong>https://www.teachingchannel.org/classroom-behavior-landing-page?gclid=CPb0tqfe1NMCFdmPswod-aIClQ</strong></a></div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The Teaching Channel is a website with many resources for teachers to use and better manage their classroom.&nbsp; There is a lot to get from this website.&nbsp; To name a few are videos of teachers and their strategies, a free lesson planner, the use of relaxation in a classroom, attention getting games, and how to create a culture in a classroom etc.&nbsp; It can also be divided by subject and grade to be able to apply the strategies to different grade levels.</div><div>3.)&nbsp; <a href="https://www.positivediscipline.com"><strong>https://www.positivediscipline.com</strong></a></div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Positive Discipline is a website that is intended to help teachers, as well as parents on how to positively apply discipline in children.&nbsp; The website has three important components, Positive Parenting, Classroom Management, and Training and Certification.&nbsp; The Positive Parenting is designed to better assist parents how to encourage mutual respect at every life stage as a student.&nbsp; The Classroom Management is full of strategies that help students and the teacher to increase achievement in a classroom environment.&nbsp; Last the Training and Certification helps parents and teachers discover positive parenting solutions and teaching strategies to both the teacher and parents as well as how to be able to build respect at home and in the classroom.<br>4.)&nbsp; <a href="https://www.edutopia.org/blog/big-and-small-classroom-management-strategies-todd-finley">https://www.edutopia.org</a></div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Edutopia is a classroom management website that has many resources that will help a teacher on integrating technology in their teaching,&nbsp; back to school ideas and questions, bullying prevention, dual language learning help, and even assessments for students.&nbsp; All grade levels can be helped by using this website and engaging in quality education more often by using resources provided.<br>5.)&nbsp; <a href="https://www.cultofpedagogy.com/what-is/">https://www.cultofpedagogy.com/what-is/</a></div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Cult of Pedagogy is a magazine designed to be online and for teachers to use as a guide or help in teaching any grade lever or subject area.&nbsp; Special education teachers may also obtain help and strategies and how to incorporate technology in teaching to better manage their classrooms.&nbsp; There are also teaching stories shared by the author that are there in a hope to inspire teachers and help them improve their teaching day by day.</div><div>&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.)  <a href="http://besthistorysites.net">http://besthistorysites.net</a></div><div>·      The Ed Tech Teacher Best of History websites is a great resource to have in mind and make use of it when teaching social studies in the classroom.  First there are general history resources, such as lesson plans, maps, games and animations, and research.  It is divided by history of different places in the world, it has American History, and Modern History.  Each topic discussed has many more resources that can help teach a lesson on a certain topic plus a lesson plan that can be followed with activities.  <br>2.)  <a href="https://kids.usa.gov/teachers/social-studies/index.shtml">https://kids.usa.gov/teachers/social-studies/index.shtml</a></div><div>·      Kids.gov is a portal designed by the USA.gov  that connects parents and teachers to information and services on the web from government agencies, schools, and educational organizations, all geared to the learning level and interest of kids.  It is designed specifically for four audiences in particular:</div><div>Kids (Grades K-5), Teens (Grades 6-8), Teachers and Parents.  For each of the categories there is information to learn, art, and online games.<br>3.)  <a href="https://www.commonsense.org/education/social-studies">https://www.commonsense.org/education/social-studies</a></div><div>·      Common Sense website is meant to discover new ready-to-use social studies resources perfect for a teacher’s classroom, including trending social studies lesson plans and edtech tools teachers will benefit from.  Teachers can also read tips to teach their students about everything from geography and history to cultural awareness, civic engagement, and social justice.  This websites is divided into grades, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.<br>4.)  <a href="https://www.learner.org/resources/lessonplanbrowse.html?d%5B%5D=SS">https://www.learner.org/resources/lessonplanbrowse.html?d[]=SS</a></div><div>·      Aside from being a Social Studies resource website for teachers it is also a website that is there to support teachers on any other subject areas.  Resources are provided from grades Kinder through college.  It has lesson plans, interactives, and videos that align to social studies.  It also has a forum where teachers have discussions on different topics.<br>5.)  <a href="http://www.nationalgeographic.com">http://www.nationalgeographic.com</a></div><div>·      The National Geographic Society is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization that explores the planet, protects wildlife and habitats, and helps assure that students in K-12 are geographically literate.  The education programs give teachers the tools needed better engage kids of all ages and inspire new generations of citizens and explorers to become more education in the subject.  There are games, videos,  all types of information and even homework help for students.<br><br></div>]]></description>

It also has videos to watch and learn from. The neat part is that it also has resources for parents.<br>2.)&nbsp; <a href="https://lesson-plans.theteacherscorner.net/reading/">https://lesson-plans.theteacherscorner.net/reading/</a><br>* The Reading Corner is a website that has reading lessons along with projects that come very handy to teachers.&nbsp; What is great is also that it has thematic units a teacher can benefit from.<br>3.). <a href="http://www.scholastic.com/browse/collection.jsp?id=658">http://www.scholastic.com/browse/collection.jsp?id=658</a><br>* The Scholastic website is great to refer to in reading and writing lessons for students.&nbsp; It has resources for grades K-12.&nbsp; Different types of writing assignments are shared to share with students.&nbsp; There are also book suggestions for teachers to read and refer when teaching a lesson.<br>4.)<a href="https://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/doc/about.csp">https://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/doc/about.csp</a><br>*.
