Personally, I think it is an interesting if not exciting subject, because no language in the world is easy to learn. I'm sure I'm not the only person who experienced this situation where when you say something and someone would stop you and correct the way you pronounce certain words. Some who had better English than me, back then, would crack a joke or tease but it was not very comforting because for me it was embarrassing to be the subject of their entertainment, I'm just sharing what I've experienced, so I was determined to make sure I would improve my English and still am trying not because I don't want to be teased again but mostly because to feel good about myself and gain more confident and yeah, want to be a better and a bigger person by helping whoever in need by not embarrassing them but merely telling or guiding them in saying it right. In Aliff's case, we're good friends. It was all a joke that we both mutually understand and we like to pull each others' leg. :P So, with this subject, I am able to know the proper and the correct way to pronounce words in English following the UK language system through phonetics. And my knowledge on delivering my speech or presentation is definitely increasing by evaluating my own intonation and speed and what not. For lecture-wise, I think Miss Taw is one of the most understanding and caring and loving lecturers I've met. Even when I know you have the right to be slightly disappointed with the class, you still apologize even though I deeply feel that if it is not your fault to ask forgiveness in the first place. As for me, no hard feelings as well. I enjoyed all the lectures. Thank you Miss Taw for your time and the knowledge that you have pass down on us, please pray for our finals. Last but not least, sorry if there was something that I had done that might have offended you during on the lectures. :) God bless.

Hello Miss Taw,

Firstly, I want to tell you that I really glad to be one of your students. This course is totally interesting and awesome because it helps us (especially me) to improve the way we speak. One of the reason this course is interesting because of the way you teach us and we can digest all the topics easily without feeling burden. Even though this course is new but I can say that it helps students very much. Certain students really good in writing and they can also understand well what other people speak in English but they don't have confidence to talk in English. Besides that, after learning this course I have improvement the way I pronounce the words and deliver what I want to say well. Maybe in the class I'm not perform well but I gain a lot from you and it helps me very much.

Hello Miss Taw. hope that you're doing great. For me by attending this course,i am improving my English by knowing how to pronounce it correctly,how to pause in certain phrase of words,how to manage our slides presentations and be confident when deliver the knowledge (when we present).

Thank you for being such a great yet superb lecturer to us.

You are the most understanding and loving lecturer i have ever met! seriously :) please pray for our final.

Thank you Miss Taw for teaching me this subject which enlighten me that there is a lot of things in englishs. I will of applying what was taught, in the future. I'm sorry if I hurt you like sometimes i coming late to class. :))) Hope you will be happy in your life, always cheerful, smiling everyday but do not when you're alone hehe (laughed politely) and don't cry.
