The "movie Detetive Bolacha Contra o Gênio do Crime" was made in 1973 to be an adaptation of Genio do Crime in a movie. But you can see it was a very low cost movie, and you can see that things that are really clear in the book are not in this adaptation, so it seems like it was a movie that only if you already read Genio do Crime you would like. My grand father really liked the beggining of this movie, but he think that in the middle the money ended so they had to make it be even more a low cost thing than it was already, so it loses quality. James Baxter ir a famous animator thanks to his fluid and live movements that he makes to a lot of different companies, just like Disney, Dream Works, Cartoon Network and etc. His speciality is 2D traditional animations.
My favorite part of his works was that scene from Beauty and the Beast which they are dancing; this scene really catchs me thanks to the camera changing and movements changing as well, it's so natural. They are really alive in this part, even her dresses is moving along with her and in this angles as well.
What inspires me the most about him, is how his style can change a lot and he can draw almost everything and make it gain life no matter what, his style are his movements, not a trace specifically.

What I thought it was old fashion about it, was the narrative in the background, instead of showing the scenes and more the characters talking. And I don’t think it would make people interested anymore, since they want to see the movie, and not to hear someone telling what’s going to happen, but actually scenes.

I could notice some things based in this two trailers, how a movie tends to put this language in the trailer. So in the first one, they tried a language more funny, putting a lot of olaf jokes and saying how much effort they are putting in that movie, trying to present the characters as cute little girls and etc.
In this second trailers things changed, there's almost no dialogue or even a word here. I really like this animatic, considering the fact and combinations made between the real world which was Evan and his friend with Connor that was in the screen just communicating by that fake emails which they were writing right now.
There is a lot of languages and medias, and it also uses a lot the different intonations of the song and also of the voices of the characters, different typos and medias, a catchy dance with you can see clearly how it would be if completely animated.

This animatic is just gorgeous. Is really difficult for me analyse it, because every tiny detail seems perfect.
This is a kind of fanfiction of Adventure Time using the song of the musical Wicked.
And this two are not related, and even so this animatic turns that music perfect to that two characters, Marceline and Bonie. And even some things that could not make sense, he put in a context and could show us using his draws.
One scene that it was really a good example is right in the begginig where bubblegum says "you can still be with the wizard" and at that time, marceline is seeing a photo of her and Simon.
Why bubblegum didn't go with Marceline as well, because she saw her responsabilities and subjects so she couldn't leave them alone.

It's rare a moment where you can see more than a draw per camera. But anyway, it is for me one of my favorite animatics in that list.
Here's why, that key movements that they put into it were crucial, there's nothing unnecessary here, and you can totally feel the mood or how the character is moving, the way of this tell you a story. It's all here, an animatic isn't simply how movements working but the way that this person used to tell us a story in a way that we can understand, even if this being just a music.
