The successful Malaysian entrepreneur that our group had chosen was Tony Fernandes, which is the CEO of Air Asia airline company. While doing this group assignment, I have learn a lot more about Tony Fernandes, for instance how he make the company became so successful, what are the strategies that he uses, the background of Tony Fernandes and how Air Asia was sold by Tony Fernandes, and so forth. 

Besides that, I also learn how groups function productively. In order for groups to function productively, each and every one of us must complete individual responsibilities. Productive group members come prepared, they contribute to the group interaction, they support each other, and they deliver good work on time. In order for us to function productively in groups, each of us have the right to expect the group to value our individual contributions, to address behaviors that compromise group productivity, and to divide the work equitably among members.

In a nutshell, we have learnt to make better decisions in group than individually. Although most people said that working in group will be easy to have conflict because more people with different opinion, but we can see the different perspectives, constructive deliberation, questioning, and critical analysis can result in better solutions and performance.

I have gained an in depth and valuable  information and knowledge about the founder of Air Asia . I was indeed amazed by his personal and career life. His passion, dedication and determination  towards his jobs has  truly inspired and motivated me . As for my group members, we had a wonderful time working together to accomplish this task. However, we ran into some turnitin issues , but somehow Sai Ching  and I managed to overcome and solved the problem. Although we did not have the privilege  to interview Tony Fernandes personally, but we managed to track down some of the facts and figures with the help of  reliable websites , magazines and newspapers. My team members and I had chosen Jimmy Choo a successful Malaysian entrepreneur for our group assignment and we divided our work equally. I had gain so much knowledge and lessons about him. Jimmy Choo had inspired me after knowing how much he had to gone through to be a successful entrepreneur and gaining so many achievements in his life. Although I may not know my group members well, but we are able to work together and complete our assignment without any arguments or disagreements. Still, I felt very upset about my group leader Aizzat after hearing him complaining about me and the other group members for not working to what he wanted. I tried to contribute my help to him but he didn’t seem to request for help from us in the problem that he is facing. Eventually, we still manage to complete our assignment in time before the due date. I had also learned that team work is the key to be successful. I do really enjoy working with them and I hope that I can get to know them better and creating a stronger bond with my group members. What an inspiring saying appears on my mind after I had done the group assignment with Kenneth, Nicholas and Wen Jie. It is undebatable Jeffrey Cheah Fook Ling has an extremely strong and positive influence on me. Jeffrey’s story has shown me successful people are always looking for chances to help other people. Plus, there is one important thing I must mention here, my team, Kenneth, Nicholas and Wen Jie, their hard work had astonishingly exceeded my expectation. I still remember the day before the deadline of this project, me and Kenneth did our work productively in the campus from 3p.m(afternoon) until 12a.m(midnight) as well as Nicholas and Wen Jie did their work at home with blood, sweat and tears. I was amazed with the spirit of their hard work.  A good communication was the key to lead 4 of us through on that day from different places via the power of technology.
