I've got many years of Business School teaching and 20 years in industry, mainly sales/marketing roles in IT, big pharma and publishing. Lived and worked in the UK, Hong Kong and Sydney/Brisbane.
I'm reading a lot of 'end-of-the-world' apocalypse fiction at the moment for some unknown reason - currently reading "The Last Day" by Andrew Murray, in which the world slowly stops spinning on its axis for reasons too complicated to explain and is plunged into permanent half darkness/half light! It's a cracking read.

Hello everyone! I'm a 1st year commerce student and I initially made the decision to study here at UNSW due to its vibrant campus, diverse range of societies and most importantly, its high standing reputation and ranking for business along with its amazing industry placement programs and internship opportunities. I hope this course will enlighten me on key financial literacy skills and as an exciting continuation of 1140. Additionally, I think this course will help me decide the majors/minors that I will take on in my 2nd year. Currently, I am reading 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak which makes an interesting cross with the world of Anne Frank, narrated with a beautifully poetic and thought provoking voice.
