I am really excited about this unit and where it can take my understanding of human resource management. I hope we gain some really transferable skills to help us in the workforce! I also feel this course will further develop the foundations of accounting from COMM1140 which will be beneficial for my chosen major.
The last book I read was "The Lemon Tree" by Sandy Tolan - a fascinating walk through history.

As for what I am looking forward to, meeting new people and learning new things. 
I don't read as much as I used to during primary and high school, but one of the last books I have completed (and not just left halfway through) is Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. I chose to enroll in UNSW's Business School due to the opportunities it offers, in addition to the IFY courses that cover a wide range of information across multiple disciplines. I aim to major in Accounting, and I look forward to developing what I've learned in COMM1140 to further progress in my chosen stream. 

While I am not a particularly avid reader, I do enjoy a bit of reading from time to time. The last book I read was "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig, which is a great book that pulled at my heartstrings at times.
