<title>In my opinion cars of the 1960&#39;s were hideous. However, many car manufacturers redesigned their cars in 1965. After that they looked okay. 1966 brought the first front wheel car since 1937. Electric &amp;nbsp;cars also had dramatic improvements made to them in 1966. &amp;nbsp;</title>

<title>The toy industry really grew in the 1960&#39;s. This was due to the fact there became a lot more variety in toys in the 1960&#39;s. A lot of toys came out in the 1960&#39;s that wouldn&#39;t be going away anytime soon. Nothing was licensed then witch meant that if lets say fish were popular. If someone makes a fish toy It would go flying of the toy store shelves in seconds.&amp;nbsp;</title>

<title>&amp;nbsp; It wasn&#39;t until 1967 that color came to tv stations. &amp;nbsp; In fact there was even a show that came out near that time. It was called Walt Disney wonderful world of color. Talk About relying on a gimmick! Other then that &amp;nbsp;there was nothing very notable that happened in the tv industry in that generation. &amp;nbsp;</title>

<title>Fashion was interesting to say the least in the 1960&#39;s. Everything had tacky bright colors and rainbow swirls on it. people in the 1950&#39;s would be disgusted if they saw this! Also people just showed too much skin GROSS! fashion was INTERESTING in the 1960&#39;s!</title>

<title>One difference between The Outsiders and the historic time period was fashion when it came to the Greasers. &amp;nbsp; In the book, the greasers weren&#39;t dressed in bright colors and did not look like a rainbow at all. &amp;nbsp; The characters were &quot;greasers&quot; dressed in jeans, white shirts, leather jackets. &amp;nbsp;Another difference is that there were gangs in the book and there wasn&#39;t a lot of that in the 60&#39;s. &amp;nbsp;Another difference is that only classic cars were mentioned in book, no electric cars or ones with front wheel drive.</title>

<title>One similarity between The Outsiders and the historic time period was fashion when it came to the Socs. &amp;nbsp; They were dressed more upscale because they had money. &amp;nbsp;Another similarity is that the fighting between upper and lower class(between the greasers and the Socs)was very common during that time. &amp;nbsp;Another similarity is that in the book it mentioned a blue Ford Mustang and that was a common car seen in the 60&quot;s. &amp;nbsp;</title>
