         <description><![CDATA[<div>The pilgrims risked their lives to come to America because in England, under the rule of King James, they faced conflicts of religion, conscience, and freedom of speech. They wanted to escape the oppression because that way of life was causing feelings of fear and paranoia (not a very promising living arrangement at all).<br>Their American Dream was pretty much to be free, and live the way they'd like without consequences. One of the most important things to them was that they could worship their God, and read the Bible. Their overall desire was freedom though.</div>]]></description>
