         <description><![CDATA[<p>Source:</p><p>Plastics are made out of natural materials such as Coal, salt, crude oil, cellulose and much more. These are then used in products such as cups and straws.</p><p>Impact:</p><p>Plastics don't break down naturally, so they are typically dumped on the side of the road or in oceans.</p><p>Solutions:</p><p>Use Metal Cups and Straws or more reusable products instead of plastics.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Source- Fertilizers, yard and pet waste, and certain soaps and detergents</p><p>Impact- Nitrogen and phosphorus support the growth of algae which causes the algae to suck all of the nutrients out of the water and make it inhabitable for other organisms.  </p><p>Solutions- Applying the correct amount of fertilizer at the right time of year will help to ensure the least amount of runoff in our streams, rivers, and oceans. </p>]]></description>
