Impact:

Plastics don't break down naturally, so they are typically dumped on the side of the road or in oceans.

Solutions:

Use Metal Cups and Straws or more reusable products instead of plastics.

Impact- Nitrogen and phosphorus support the growth of algae which causes the algae to suck all of the nutrients out of the water and make it inhabitable for other organisms.

Solutions- Applying the correct amount of fertilizer at the right time of year will help to ensure the least amount of runoff in our streams, rivers, and oceans.
