From the statistics and feedback the company can then decide if the safety occurrences are acceptable; if safety measures are causing operational difficulties affecting output, welfare and health. problems. I suppose having regular feedback between staff and management, and safety circles, studying the root cause of every safety breach can help. The message that safety is everyone's business in the company is impt and all staff are encouraged to buy into this . I suppose if the measures are effective and cost efficient, there is also no need to overdo safety in the company. Some industry are at a higher risk than others, so more measures are needed.  We should look at the effectiveness of the measures rather than the sheer number of them.
