My trip destination is Iceland and let's learn some information about this interesting country.

Iceland is a country which is located between Norway and Greenland. About 79 percent of the land consists of glaciers, lakes, and lava fields. So Iceland is famous for its natural environment.

Do you know a TV program ‘꽃보다 청춘’? In this program, Iceland received lots of attention because the cast of the TV program went there. They went there to see Aurora. After watching the aurora in this program, my dream destination has become Iceland. Aurora is a phenomenon in which energy generated when electrically charged particles from solar winds collide with air molecules in the Earth's atmosphere is converted into light. Its green color and scenery moved me so I want to go there. However, it is hard to see Aurora. Auroras can't be seen in the middle of summer because they are observed in the dark night.So we have to leave at a good time to observe Aurora. 

I would go to the 'Gullfoss' because it is the largest waterfall in Iceland. This place is famous for its beautiful scenery that is called the Golden Lake. 

And then, I will go to the ‘diamond beach’. A large chunk of ice is shining like a diamond under the sun. The ice cubes from the glaciers melt slowly and drift away into the sea. Because of global warming that make glaciers smaller and smaller, so this makes Diamond Beach's glaciers even more special and rare. 

The next place to visit is near Mubarton Lake in northern Iceland.

Lake Mubarton, which is rich in vegetation in northeastern Iceland, and its stunning surrounding landscape create a unique travel spot that blends elements together to make Iceland shine even more.

A few kilometers north of the lake, Krafla Volcano, a hell-fire furnace, shines. The heat here creates a variety of natural hot springs that are good for bathing in the surrounding Mubarton area.

My last destination is Singbelier National Park. Singbelier is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its numerous special natural features. Its characteristics include Iceland's largest natural lakes, the Þingvallavatn and the Silfra Gorge. If I get a chance, I will try scuba diving and snorkeling in the Silfra Gorge.

In conclusion, the reason why I want to go to Iceland is to see and feel nature. Maybe it would be the best day of my life. If everyone is free from Covid 19, I will leave for Iceland to carry out my unforgettable bucket list in my life. So, what is your dream destination? Thank you for listening.

   

Germany, located in central Europe, is hot in July and cold in January like Korea, so it is best to travel in spring and autumn. Most shops are closed on public holidays, therefore helpful to check holidays in advance. you better to carry cash rather than a card because they prefer cash and there is a tipping culture.

2. Hermann Hesse

Hermann Hesse, who wrote 《Unterm Rad》, 《Demian》, and 《Das Glasperlenspiel》 was born in 1877 in the small town ‘Calw’. His dad wanted him became theologian but he wanted to writing from an infant, so grabbed a pen after much wandering. but after he was criticized by the media and banned from publishing because he opposed Nazism and World War I, he left to Switzerland montagnola in 1919 with suffering mental turmoil.

3. Calw

A small town located in Baden-Württemberg. It used to be described as Gerbersau in Hesse's works. It is the setting of 《Unterm Rad》, especially the Nagold River is the setting of 《Hinterlassene Schriften und Gedichte von Hermann Lauscher》 and 《Knulp》. If you follow the gaze of the statue of Hermann Hesse standing on the Nikolaus Brücke, you can see the statue of Knulp, the main character in 《Knulp》 and also can go to the Marktplatz.

 Singapore, which has strict urban cleanup campaigns and strict maintenance of order, is actually designated as a non-smoking area, so fines will be imposed if caught smoking. A fine will also be imposed for littering on the road or spitting in public places. Therefore, the city is very clean and orderly. We don't sell chewing gum like a habit at all, and we can't chew gum in public or on the streets even if it's brought by tourists.

 Now, let me introduce a tourist attraction of Singapore.

First, Arab Street, a tourist attraction that can take you from Singapore to Arab travel! Singapore, where various cultures coexist, has attractions where you can feel the exotic atmosphere from Chinatown, Little India, and Arab Street. Among them, Arab Street has buildings that seem to have moved Arab streets, such as the Sultan Mosque and Hajirain Street, so you can leave unique commemorative photos.

Second, Chinatown, there is Sri Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore. It is a temple dedicated to Mariam, the goddess of protection, and it is easy to see those who come to pray. The reason why the temple is in Chinatown, not Little India, is because Indians used to live here.

Last, Merlion Park, Singapore's landmark, has a Merlion statue. The Merlion is a symbol of Singapore, a processed animal shaped like a lion in the upper body and a fish in the lower body. Currently, Merlion is a representative symbol of Singapore, and is often found in various monuments.

The reason why I want to go to China is because I liked the memories of China I went to before.

Even in China, I really want to go to Shanghai. 

Among Shanghai, There are three places I really want to go. 

That are Nanjing East road, Yuyuan Garden, and The Bund

First, Nanjing East road is like shopping street. A short walk from here, you can see Shincheonji, also known as China's Europe, and the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. When I went there before, buildings were being built. So the most memorable place in this street is M&M'S Store. I've never seen such a big chocolate store in my life, so I still remember it. And there's a photo spot that is written 'I love Shanghai', but I couldn't take a picture. Because construction was underway. So I want to visit again because I was disappointed in many things.

Second, Yuyuan Garden is also called a garden, but it is actually small shops with more than 1,000 stores. This place is famous for its lantern festival, so it is pretty at night. Actually, I don't remember, but I think I saw a great performance there. In this place, I have a good memory of meeting nice Korean, and on the way out from performance, the lanterns were so beautiful that I remember it. One thing that was disappointing is that there were too much people. So I really want to go back.

Last, The Bund is a place with a beautiful night view along the Huangpu River. The night view shows famous buildings in China, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower. This place is famous for its beautiful night view, but I went during the day. And I went ti China around Autumn, and I still remember the autumn wind in China, which was so cool day. So I want to go again at night and take many pictures.

I want to walk around streets and compare my memory about China with present China.

In addition, I want to recall my memories that I couldn’t think of.

 

 

 

 

First of all, there are two reasons why I became interested in Russia. The first reason is that I like snow. I became interested in Russia because it is one of the countries where I can see a lot of snow. 

The second reason is that I became interested in Russian. While I was looking into Russian, I naturally thought that I wanted to go to Russia.

Among many Russian cities, I chose Irkutsk because of Lake Baikal. Lake Baikal, which contains 20% of the world's fresh water, freezes in winter, and I wonder what it looks like. There is also an island called Alhon Island in Lake Baikal, and I want to go across the lake once. I also like the winter scenery, but I thought I wanted to see the waves of Lake Baikal in summer. That's why I chose Irkutsk because I wanted to see Lake Baikal anytime. The second reason I chose Irkutsk is because of the rime. Irkutsk has the Angora River. In winter, it's so cold around the river that there's a rime. When it is below zero degrees, water vapor sublimates and attaches to cold objects, which cover the surrounding objects white, which is called rime. I really want to see all the landscape white because of the rime.

The biggest reason I chose Irkutsk is the two reasons above, but there is another. The third reason relates to Irkutsk's nickname. Irkutsk has long been an exile for young officers, artists, and aristocrats who participated in the Decembrist revolt. So many cultural heritages were created through the exiles here, and Irkutsk was nicknamed 'Paris of Siberia'. I wonder what kind of cultural heritage the city called 'Paris of Siberia' will have and what atmosphere it will have. So as soon as I heard Irkutsk's nickname, I chose Irkutsk as my final destination. I hope my introduction raises your interest in Russia. Thank you!
