Unforgettable moment:

There was a time nung high school when you were very eager to find out yung mga kalokohan namin including pagyoyosi etc., and the best part pinagupitan mo ang long hair ko and nagtampo ako sayo. There was an instance in my second year high school na mababa ang grade ko to a certain subject. Syempre memory gap na hindi ko na maalala kung science ba yun or kung ano bang subject. May tutorial ka sa house with i think si Ramir or si Wei. Then when i reached your house sabi mo pumasok na ako because you will talk to my dad. After that day when i reached home, i asked my dad what you told him. He said sinabi mo lang na may bayad yung tutorial pero wala naman talaga. You were just accommodating me so i can cope up with the subject, and para seryosohin ko yung tutorial.

Never ko naging teacher si Ms. Prime, but she taught me so many life lessons. She has so much wisdom to share, and she is always on the go. One time, in the usual course of our kamustahan, she shared her different experiences and conversations with cab drivers. They were all amusing experiences, and I passionately suggested for her to write and turn the same into a book.

But of course, Ms. Prime's ever unceasing will power will make anything happen. Now, such stories have been turned into a book, and more people will benefit from Ms. Prime's infinite wisdom! Galing!

Most treasured moments - volleyball practices and games since that was the start of our friendship
Most memorable - out of town trips we made like when we went to Baguio..just to play volleyball: when we went to Cauayan cove just recently and she was the one telling jokes and stories so we won't notice the traffic along the way

Summer vacation in Calauag, Quezon alone ang dami....if you are with ate neneng, there will NEVER be a dull moment kaya imagine nyo summer vacation namin... from learning how to ride a bike, swimming namin sa ilog sa sta. elena, paliligo namin sa poso, mga larong kalye...dami.....and sobra saya!! :)

Our friendship started when our sons became classmates/bestfriends in Claret (Prep pa Lang sila noon). Prima became my son, Arlo's, 2nd Mom in school. Kampante ako masyado noon dahil nandyan si Prima. Mula Sa umpisa Ay naramdaman Ko Ang totoong pagmamahal at malasakit Ni Prima Kay Arlo at Sa buong pamilya Ko.

Thank you ng sobra sa lahat ng ganiwa mo para sakin. :) naaalala ko since prep palang ako hanggang maka graduate ata ako hindi na kami pumila ni kuya para mag enroll. Haha. Alam ko dati ikaw nanlilibre samin ni kuya everytime na kasabay ka namin umuwi. :) minsan nga nalulungkot ako lagi kapag hindi ka namin kasabay umuwi dahil una walang mcdo, pangalawa walang natatakot sa likod ng sasakyan kapag mabilis nagpapatakbo si kuya. Takot na takot ka lang eh. Thank you kasi feel ko talaga sa pagstay ko sa claret walang magsusungit sakin na teacher kasi nanjan ka para sakin. Siyempre dala ko rin yung Montoya na si kuya naglagay sa Claret. Natupad naman wish ko ng maging teacher kita nung 2nd year ako, kaso kulang stay ko sa Claret kasi isa pa sa wish ko maging adviser kita eh. Pero sinabi mo naman sakin dahilan mo kung bakit ayaw mo ako kunin. Nag-aaral naman ako kahit papano kasi takot din ako kay Coach Mon matanggal sa team. I know may sarili akong mommy pero alam mo naman busy sa work kasi nagsisimula palang kami nun tapos dumadami pa yung branches. Ikaw ang tumayong mommy para sakin sa Claret, sa mga recognition ikaw kasama ko sa stage, nung paalam namin nung 4th year wala ako pagbibigyan ng magulang ng bulalak, ikaw agad nasa isip ko eh.

Hi, Ms. Prime! I remember you were our Bio teacher during 2nd Year High School. You taught us how to dissect a from- its step by step process and the do's and don'ts of doing it. However, you didn't teach us how to sustain the frog's life. As you said, "Pag namatay yan, bagsak na kayo." That thought scared me, personally, knowing that my grade is dependent on the life of the frog. Fast forward to today, I learned that in real life, we all have our limitations and during times of survival, we ought to bring out the best in us. That life lesson, I attribute to you Ms. Prime.

Ms prime is probably one of the most exciting people i know. Sa sobrang dami ng moments namen together, hndi ko na rin mabilang ang mga life lessons (both inspirational and stupid) na natutunan ko sa kanya: mapa-career, family, diskarte at kaartehan sa buhay, funny experiences, mga nakakaloka at nakakabaliw na encounter with students, parents, colleagues, and bosses, mga self-help and practical skills na super naiinis sya na hndi ko alam (like ung pag assemble ng stand fan), special interests like singing, dancing, going to Church, driving, volleyball, and most especially, EATING! Name it all...We shared everything together!!!

Wala pa doon ang mga matutunan ko sa kanya regarding all types of grooming - self, house, car, at ultimong pet grooming. Nakakaloka. Pati directions from manila to makati to mars, lahat na yata ng lugar alam nya. Not to mention ang kanyang mga health and medication tips na super effective. Plus all the driving skills and road etiquette na natutunan ko from her nang buwis- buhay. Ang hirap i-enumerate. Siguro naiinis na sken si lourd kase deadline ng message na to ay friday pa kaso here i am linggo na hndi ko pa rin tapos. Sorry na huhu. Super dami kse ng pwede kong ma-share. Sa sobrang dami wala akong ma-mention na pinaka importante. Pero i think the most important thing that i learned from her is how we should value the people who love us. Hndi naman sa kelangan mong tumanaw ng utang na loob, pero as a person, isa yun sa pinakamasarap na feeling na dapat nating mafeel: mapaligaya mo ang mga taong walang ibang hangad kundi ang kasiyahan mo.

O diba ang taray! Hahaahah. Charaught! Pero seriously, i wouldn't have learned so much about life without her. It's overwhelming. Sya talaga ang highlight ng experience ko sa Claret. Ive had so many "firsts" na kasama ko sya. Pero sa dinami dami ng adventures nmen, pinaka hndi ko makakalimutan ung adventure papuntang vulcanizing shop from kalayaan. Promise...Super intense yon nakakaloka! Hahaahah.

Marami rin akong nakilala dahil sayo, and im thanking God so much because He let our paths cross. We met Ms Prime almost 19 years ago when our eldest son, Micael Paulo transferred to Claret. I do not know which came first, her being the teacher of Micael or, her as a friend, being the sister of an officemate at Wyeth-Suaco or Wyeth Philippines where I was working during that time.

Anyway, Ms Prime lived near our Subdivision, she at Greenpark, and we at Vista Verde Executive Village. We would be dropping by each other’s place (“through the back door” where we could pass through from our village to their place) with all sort of “gifts”, pasalubongs, padalas especially foodies or what have you … simple ways of keeping in touch and showing each other “love and care”. It just happened.

It seems we have forgotten that part that she was a teacher to our son (Micael and later on to Iñigo) and what marked most was that we were friends. Basta friends na nandyan lang. We would talk on the phone once in a while (buti ngayon meron ng text-text !), kwentuhan (ng kahit ano lang) ….. we would be dropping by each other’s place. Ganoon lang kami to each other and time flew so, so fast ….. imagine, almost 2 decades na pala.

My most unforgettable experience of Ms Prime was our trip to 168. Yes, 168 Mall! I learned from her how to take the LRT from our place and travel all the way to 168 passing through the side streets going to Divisoria. I learned the right time to hit the road, what jeep to ride, wear appropriate attire and what gears to bring (eco bags, big ones!!!) and how to bargain there! My experience was such a thrill and really a great job. I am sure there are a lot more to learn from her and hope we can do this again. Imagine, meron ng Lucky Chinatown Mall beside it!

Dear Ms Prime,

M’am. I am so thankful that Lourd had included me in this very, very special gift that he planned and prepared for you. I am deeply honored and privileged to have been a great part of the golden years that you are now celebrating. Such a great milestone! I know your journey had not been easy but with God’s good graces you have been blessed in many ways. My family and I, my children especially, look up to you and admire you for all your achievements; we know you have been successful in many ways but have remained humble and simple. We are witness to how you love your family, especially how you cared for both your parents. We cannot imagine you feeling down as we see you, as always the “light and heart” of your family. Para sakin lahat ng moments kasama si tita masaya, di naman kami lang magkasama pero pag may time PURO luto at kain. Ako lagi yung kasama ni tita sa shopping ng ingredients at sa pagluluto kahit nung nasa lagro pa. Naaalala ko din yung message sakin ni tita nung retreat ko na naiyak din ako hehe. Sana makapag Alfonso ulit tayong lucido. Si ate prime ang pinakaunang "nakaamoy" na nanliligaw ako kay blu (as she always do to other couples...). and she would always believe in our relationship and as a mother and sister for both of us, we can feel her happiness and during our wedding day and the daily encounters up to now... you know ate prime will always be there for us.. in sickness (she's always present when blu is in the hospital), and in health (masarap sya kasama kumain, always!) .. what a great feeling knowing you have her in your life!
During the cheerleading contest last sy 07-08, Ms prime asked the parents if they can bring a carabao... they said yes and, Voila! A carabao went it's way to the center of the gym while the participants of the 2nd yr level finished their performance. what a sight it was! "

Yung lesson na magshare ka ng kung anong meron ka, at ibahagi mo ito sa iba maliit man o malaki,kaunti man o marami atleast nagshare at nakatulong ka naalala ko din nung wala kaming pambili ng school supplies para sa pasukan,tapos gumawa si tita ng paraan para magkaroon kami ng pambili ng para sa school nagbigay siya ng puhunan para makapagtinda kami sa school nila ng foods for lunch tapos yung kinita dun yun na yung pinambili namin ng school supplies si tita neng din sobrang galing niyan magpayo pati magpaalala kahit paulit ulit niyang sabihin sayo lahay yun di yan mapapagod,may dagdag pa hahaha . Siya yung tita ko na NERBYOSA hahahaha kahit kabado siya tuwing nagiinom ang papa ko taga awat padin yan pag nagaaway si Manny (papa) pati si jinky (mama) at siya naman si mommy D haha kung minsan nga nasasali pa si bradley e (pipoy,kuya) hahaha kahit gabi na maglalakad kami papuntang kabilang bahay para lang masure na safe na si bradley haha . Ang pinakamemorable kong experience kay Ms Prime ay nung inatasan niya akong gumawa ng graduation invitation ng Magnus nung March 2014. Kahit alam kong mabigat na task ito ay aking tinangap alang-alang sa kanya at para mabawasan ang kanyang stress sa graduation namin. Natapos na ang graduation at naging matagumpay ang aking paggawa noon. Masasabi ko na doon nagsimula ang pagiging close namin sa isa't isa. Hindi ko naman siya naging Biology teacher or adviser for that matter kasi Student Moderator ko na siya nung nahandle niya ako pero masasabi ko hindi ako nagkamali na maging close sa kanya dahil nagkaroon ako ng isang nanay na alam ko nanjan para sa akin at susuportahan ako sa mga pangarap ko sa buhay. Bukod pa roon, ay meron pa akong food buddy dahil parehas kaming mahilig kumain lalong lalo na ng mga putok-batok at mga matatamis na cakes. Hehehehe.

I will not forget our Lakbay Aral in Sagada. She took care of us and she always had food to offer us. She also had a lot of stories to tell. During our visit to different places in Mt. Province, she also shared wonderful and inspiring stories about her college life and her family. What I admire about Ate Prime is that, she has a big heart for everyone. She is more than willing to be of help whatever the circumstance is. She would really extend herself just to make you feel that you are not alone. I also admire her for being a good writer. She is also competitive. When she does something, she would always give her best. She is very creative and she loves reusing and recycling things. Both of us love lumpiang shanghai! If she was able to prepare it,she would really offer it to me along with her delicious bbq sisig and tacos! Even in some school occasions, if lumpiang shanghai is served, she would always say, Mama Jo! favorite natin!

Una kong nakilala si Ms. Prime nung may lab kami nung 1st year. Hindi ko man siya teacher nun, may nakapagsabi sakin na strikto daw yun, at dahil nga bago lang din ako sa claret ng mga panahong yun, at naninibago sa paligid, hindi ko na muna inisip yun, hiniling ko na lang na hindi siya maging science teacher ko nun. Pero nung nag tagal, nung nakikita ko mga student niya sa science at mga section niyang nahahawakan, napaisip ako, bakit parang okay naman to si ma'am, laging masaya section niya. Nakakabiruan naman nila siya. Hanggang tuluyan ko na nakilala si Ms. Prime, dahil sa napakawalastik niyang anak na si Lourd. Dun ko nakilala ng lubos si Tita. Hindi man direct sa kanya, pero sa taong pinakaminahal at minamahal niya. Naramdaman ko din ang pag papahalaga niya nung nag simula na magloko si James. Nako, alam mo yan Tita!! Hahaha. Dahil siya na ang student moderator ng mga panahong yun, pinatawag niya kami ni Mommy at kinausap ng masinsinan, pinaliwanag niya kung ano mga nangyayari sa kapatid ko sa pinakamahinahong paraan, kahit alam ko ng sumasakit ulo niya dun, ramdam ko na wala sa intensyon niyang pabayaan to. Dun ko lalong hinangaan si Tita, hindi niya sinukuan ang kapatid ko at inaupdate niya pa kami nun from time to time. Laking pasalamat ko talaga sa inyo nun Tita. Hanggang ngayon tinatanaw kong malaking utang na loob yun. Salamat po. Ngayong wala na kami sa puder ng claret at may kanya kanya ng buhay, hindi pa din siya nakakalimot mangamusta through Lourd. At sobrang nag papasalamat ako at may kinakapatid akong gaya ni Lourd, na kahit iisa ang tumayong ama't ina ay talo pa ang kumpleto ang dalawa. Kung pano niyo pinalaki si Lourd, Tita, kitang kita po na sa purong pagmamahal at pangaral. Yung prinsipyo niya sa buhay, kung pano makitungo sa tao, wala ka na pong mahihingi pa. Sobrang swerte niyo po sa isa't isa.

Ngayong ika 50th niyo po Tita, all I wish for you is to have another 50. Yehes naman. Hahahaha. Other than that, I pray that you strengthen your relationship with Him and with others. Happy Happy Birthday po Tita. God Bless po! :)

I fondly call her NENG or tita prime..So many memories/stories to tell! Magkabatch kami sa csqc at nagsumpaan na walang iwanan! Pero tinawag ako ni uncle Sam kaya ayun toda maxx ang tampo at iyakan namin ! Tawag nya sa akin ay Inay o kaya Dina minsan ay lola..d ko malilimutan ung immersion namin sa Zamboanga nang inatake sya ng hika todo paypay ako sa kanya parang nag-iihaw ba ng mais! Nagsumpaan kami na bibili ng lupa at doon kami tatanda ..isang bingi at isang bulag! Naaalala ko rin nang siya ay maihi sa katatawa sa gitna ng kalsada sa malapit sa eunilane dahil sa Katangahan ko! Magkasama kami sa pagdalaw kay AMA sa quiapo kakain ng pansit bibili ng mga anik anik para kanino?? sa mga anak nmin sa mga pamangkin nya..sasakay kami ng LRt doon banda sa upuan ng mga seniors aarte kunyari pilay at ako ang dakilang alalay kaya nakakaupo kami..pagpapatsek up ng tuhod nya akay -akay nmin sya ni Teta.. nagkikita kami sa Bayan ng Marikina para mamalengke ...sa mga pa kontes sa school talagang sya nag iinitiate na sasali kami.. at pinakamatindi sa mga problema, sya ang lalapitan ko at talagang di ka iiwan nyan me solusyon agad ! Sa lahat ng klase ng prob sa kanya ko lumalapit.. Noong nasa Vigan kami lakbay -aral namin tumabi ako sa kanya sa kama sabi ko: Ne payakap kasi ang ginaw sabi ba nman : kaw talaga Tomboy! Ang nakakainis lang pag kelangan nyang asikasuhin sarili nya tigas ng ulo! nagpapakadakila ! Kahit me sakit papasok pa! Oist Ne, half a decade ka na tanggapin mo na yun! Alam ko madami ka pang parating na bertdey pramis ko sau " i'll see you when i see you"..kahit wala ako dyan isipin mo abdito ako nagmamahal at i'll always remember you in my own special way ! Primalou and I...Hmmmm...We have plenty of memories together. Few may have already been forgotten but many still lingers on. Our memories are kept alive by the strong friendship we honed and fortified. Back in the 80's we were high school classmates. During 1st and 2nd year, however, we had different set of friends; but because our section had been very competitive, everyone in class became truly close friends. In those years, we participated in many competitions i.e. singing, drama, dancing, cheering, sabayang pagbigkas, and perhaps every competition you could think about during the high school years. We became good friends during those first two years, but God rekindled the winds of fate as to whoever shall we be even closer to, so wait until we became seatmates on our third year. I remember that oftentimes teachers call our attention because we were so noisy. Prime is very talkative and very playful back then. Well, what more now? Anyway, from then on we started to be close friends. We sometimes even share our lunch boxes. Madalas, since her home is along the way to my home, I send her to their place. Kaya I'm close with her family because I also drop by to eat and play. So those are our kabataan days together. However, due to having no fb or cellphones back then we lost communication and even lost contact with our common networks. But then again, God moved his hands to direct us back together again. Having a family of my own, I enrolled my eldest son in claret and that was where we met again. He took care of my son as if he was her own. I was a busy mom so I always sought for her assistance to look after and tutor my kids.

Napatunayan ko na si Primalou ay tunay kong bestfriend and a sister during one of my lowest moments. She was always there for me; always ready to uplift me. When I thought everyone turned their back, she believed in me, she stood by me. Yes, not always physically present, but she was always just a call away. She was with me when I felt I was alone.

So sis, thank you for your sincerity! Thank you for the gift of friendship! I love you sis! Happy happy 50th birthday! Congratulations to us as we approach our golden age

Pinaka memorable sakin kay ma'am is nung naabutan kong may na-conduct slip one time sa claret nung bumisita ako haha. First time ko kasi siya makita maghandle nun ng mga kaso and nakakatuwa kasi napaka motherly niya ihandle yung situation. Honestly, noon nung student pa ko, natatakot ako sa kanya kasi baka siya yung tipo na pasigaw magalit or something. Hindi pala. Ang galing lang kasi saktong 2nd mom ang dating. Lalo pa "anak" rin tawag niya saming mga claretians. Pag nagkamali ka, kalmang conversation lang pero maguiguilty ka and matututo ka. Tsaka may conduct slip ka parin hahaha. Buti nalang di ako pasaway noon haha.

My most treasured moment wth ms Lucido is that during the times that I don't want to go to school and I find it really difficult studying. She was always there to guide me and give me best advice. I will never forget those moments for she really stood as my second mother. I also give her gratitude for all the support, love and her concern to me seems as if I'm her real son.

For me, SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER!
I owe her a part of my success in life as a businessman and a responsible father to my family

Until now we are still in contact with each other people thought that our connections will just fade after I graduated from claret school but I was wrong.. It is my honor to meet someone like her who is true and loving!

Hindi ko malilimutn kay ma'am Lucido: paano mo naman malilimutan si Ma'am e terror n teacher yan. Jok lang. Pero malaking bahagi ng buhay hayskul ko si Ms. Lucido dahil sa pagiging magaking nyang guro. Mas madali kobg natutunan ang biology dahil marunong siyang makipag communicate sa klase. Ang mga mahihirap na konsepto ay ginagawa nyang simple. Di lamang sa pagiging magaling nyang magturo ngunit magaling din siyang disciplinarian at malaking bagay ito sa paghulma ng aking pagkatao at dala-dala ko ito hanggang sa ngayon. Paano nga ba malilimutan si Ma'am e pag dumaan ka sa kaniya siguradong pag nag dissect kayo ng palaka ay hindi ka puwedeng mag gloves! Big deal yun sa amin dati. Hindi lang dissect, ang project pa ay kailangan balatan ng buo ang mga palaka at maipakita ang buto nito..isa pang hindi ko malimutan at sinama ko ito sa libro namin ay ang paggawa ng basurahan mula sa mga gamit ng karton. Ito ang isang dahilan kung bakit natuto akong segragate sa murang edad...matagal ng panahon iyon ngunit hanggang ngayon ay hindi ko pa din ito malilimutan. Maligayang kaarawan Ms. Prime!

Message: 50 years old ka na pala Ma'am? Hindi halata parang ikaw pa din ang kinagisnan kong guro sa hayskul.

Sana ay maraming kaarawan ang ang dumating sa iyo dahil isa ka sa institusyon ng ating paaralan. Marami ka pang iimpluwensiyahang mag-aaral na maging mabuti sa kanilang larangan. Maligayang kaarawan Ma'am at may ebidensya naman na isa kang mabuting tao dahil ang bunga mo na si Lourd ay isang napakabuting anak. Maligayang kaarawan po!!! GOD BLESS YOU!

May letter ako galing kay Ms. Prime, well sinulatan niya yung scroll ko nung outgoing CBS na kami tapos nakalagay dun, wag ko raw siyang kakalimutan. Makalimutan? Yung teacher na sobrang bangis parang nagsimula ang tunay na buhay mula nang maging adviser namin siya? Nawalan kami ng table at locker privileges kasi makalat kami. Sa sahig kami nag-lelesson tapos uwian mga libro namin HAHAHAHA!! Nung nagbibilang kami ng mga atp tapos iilan lang kaming nakapasa sa batch sa quiz na yon, one of the proudest moments in my life. Sayang hindi ko naitabi yung havaianas na keychain. Na hanggang ngayon may way siya of saying my name (Jii-Deeee) at sobrang 2nd mom vibes pa rin.

Meron namang sigurong mga malilimutan in-between na hindi maiiwasan pero yung makalimutan yung person na siguro yung worst na pwede mong gawin sa kanya. Sobrang dami pang mga memories with Ms. Prime pero hindi ko ma nit-pick alin yung the best kasi she has a way of making every experience with her, worthwhile. Happy Birthday, Mama Prime!!! *yakap*
