Through the discussion, we understood how important civic participation is to create change, just like FUNDENL is doing. When more people get involved and support the cause, there’s a greater chance of achieving justice and reducing the number of disappearances. 

By the end of the meeting, we were deeply moved since this is a huge problem happening around the world, especially in our own city, and we hadn’t fully seen it before. One fact that really astonished us was that 127,000 people have disappeared in the last eleven years. Something else that caught our attention was that they chose to start their movement through embroidery, a peaceful and creative form of protest and not instead of using more rude methods. So in conclusion we deeply worship them since after the tragic situation they went through, they were strong and brave and decided to form part of this organization to spread the word and support all of the people who go through the same thing.

2. Which of the 7 ways to participate mentioned in the Module suits best to describe Mrs. Lety Hidalgo and FUNDENL ´s activism? Select at least 2 and justify its connection by providing examples shared at the Conference.

   • The main way that Mrs. Lety and FUNDENL are engaging with this issue is  the service their organization provides. They collaborate by searching for the disappearing people by their own will, creating a community program for all the people who want to support the same causes. . Another way they are participating that is mentioned in generation global is by innovation, since they are making a social solution and solving a social-problem.    

3. How Mrs. Lety Hidalgo's actions and civic participation have created a positive change both for yourself and others? Explain

   • Mrs. Lety action and civic participation have made a significant impact on our community and ourselves since she has been fighting for justice and raising awareness about the issue of missing persons. Through her efforts she has worked so hard to make sure no one else is missing and continues to search for those who are still missing. So thanks to her movement, many people have become aware of these serious problems we are facing and also these actions have inspired others to get involved and support the families who are suffering.

We consider that the most relevant role was the people. We say people but especially Julia and Abril which are the ones trying to uncover the truth of Ger. We can see their dedication, their feelings and how they are dealing with all of the problems like the authorities or the unsafe places they want to go through. People in general like the ones in the previous picture are also very relevant because they reflect their hurt and make something good out of it by working together and preforming activities in groups.

The information provided on the tik tok is the necessary to get into the case, but since tik tok is a platform where the videos are very short, it does not contain the amount and quality of information that people must like to know about.

And the information of the you tube video contains information that makes the public get more interested since it generates a bit of morbid curiosity in people, since there are interviews with people close to the victims, and real footage of the time where the little girl was kidnapped

On the "X" post, the information that they provide is almost nothing. And generally the information that is circulating on social media like "X", "Tik Tok" or "Instagram" , there are very few or no videos or posts about that case

On the youtube video we can see that the information is not that important or shocking that could make the people get involved on the case.
