They are free: in public schools the text books are free and it is a huge advantage because all students can have access to them.
More practice: most of the students books have a lot of exercises for practicing, so it is a great advantage because students can practice more what they are learning.
Reduce time: the students book reduces a lot of time because when my students didn't have their students books, they had to write everything in their notebook and they took time to do it.

The level of the students book: in public schools all the students book has a very high level and the students are just starting to being in contact with the language.
Teacher 's effort: students book can be a disadvantage for the class because sometimes the teacher do not plan the class and just follow the students book.
Tracks: the students book do not include the Cd's or the digital tracks for completing the listening activities.
