         <description><![CDATA[<div>1- My footwork is a strength shown on the analysis graph. It allowed me to help the game flow fast and avoid any interruptions that could slow down the game. Also the 10 steps allowed to me get the ball down towards the goal in a more defensive way than passing down to court would be.<br><br>2- Aglility is also a strength. This skill allows me to change direction quickly, which is helpful when you need to get away from an opponent running at you. It means I am able to dodge around people about to attack. In the video it shows me dodging an opponent to throw the ball to a team mate. This was good as it allowed to ball to get closer to the goal or our team to score.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1- I need to improve intercepting the ball. This is because I could be getting the ball back to our team without contacting the opponent. This would be a quick, easy and helpful way to get the advantage to our team and allow us to score more goals.&nbsp;In the game there was a point where I was about to intercept the ball but I was not close enough, if I had judged this better I could have completed the interception successfully. <br><br>2- I need to improve my stamina on to court. If I improved this it would be beneficial because it would mean I could use my strengths like speed on to court for longer and be a more valuable team mate.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>AFL 9s SMART targets to improve</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1-&nbsp; To improve stamina I would:&nbsp;</div><div>instruct them to do 5 sets of intense 3 minutes running on a sports centre running track with equal 3 minutes rest after running. I would do this 3 times a week for 3 weeks. After 2 weeks in would increase it to 4 minutes runs and repeat this process of increasing the time every 2 weeks for a total of 6 weeks. You should see a improvement in stamina after this.<br><br>2- To improve blocking I would:&nbsp;</div><div>do drills on the pitch such as running towards the player with possession with the ball and mark them to make sure you are putting pressure on them so they can't throw the ball as easily. In pairs, i would tell them to do this and make 20 blocks each and repeat this 5 times a session. I would do this over a period of 2 weeks doing 3 sessions a week to see any improvement. In the second week i would do this the same however with a player on the same team as the one with possession with the ball, runs side on to receive the ball. This means the blocker will have to quickly see the change of ball direction to mark the ball being thrown to the attacking player to try and stop the ball from getting to the new players hands.&nbsp;<br><br>3- To improve strength i would: do a gym program. For example to improve bicep strength in the arms, i would do 3 sets of 8 bicep curls with 30 seconds rest per reps. the weight would be 6kg. I would do this for 3 weeks 4 times a week. After 3 weeks i would increase the sets to 5 sets of 10 pets with 30 seconds rest per rep. The weight would be increased to 8kg and i would do this 5 times a week. I would do this for 3 weeks and then after the next 3 weeks increase the weight reps and sets a week again. This would be a total 9 week process. After this you should see improvement in your strength.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Justification of target for AFL 9s</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1-&nbsp; I would improve stamina in the AFL 9s game as it accompanies running which is vital in AFL 9s and used more than any other skill. It is a component of fitness so it is important to control and improve in. I have instructed the performer to do 5 sets of intense running bursts. I have done this because in AFL 9s these short bursts of running will need to be used regularly and to full effort. For example if you are running away from an opponent assisting a goal, if you are dodging an opponents touch or just in general and you need to play the whole game to full effort. After the 2 weeks I would increase the intensity. I would do this because your body should be used to the first 2 weeks training and will no longer be improving because of this. So by increasing the intensity after 2 weeks it means that you will be pushing your body to improve more and your stamina will increase because of this.&nbsp;<br><br>2- I would improve blocking to improve my AFL 9s. This is because in the game you need to be a defender and an attacker. By Becoming better at blocking it can also improve my confidence. This is because the drills of practice are repetitive and the constant practice would become muscle memory and this means when you come to play a game you will remember what you are doing. I would use drills to work on blocking to put pressure on the opponent and help us win the game. I would tell them to do the blocking drills so that when it comes to play a game, you will be familiar with the arms up blocking motion and it will come naturally. The development of the drills in the third week is a more realistic situation and would be a real game situation. This makes your players prepared for the quick reactions environment in a game. Practicing the marking and quick change in direction of the opponent is good to practice as in a game you don't know your opponents tactics or directions they have practiced running in in their training. This makes you prepared for any direction and prepared to block. Because of the repetitive training, the confidence will improve in the game play. This is because when there are past achievements in the game, you get a feeling of self- efficacy. This encourages you to play more. So if you have low confidence this game is good to boost your confidence with practice as you will the confidence to proceed with the drill in a game as you have practiced and will feel more comfortable with performing it under pressure due to this.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
