I think hegemony is a powerful person or organization bullying or controlling people who are weaker than them. Hegemony also includes bullying and bullying. Self reflexive writing response; participation:
Half way through the semester, I expect to get a C or above grades? I have no idea. Although I attended every class on time and was never absent, and I think half of classes were group discussion. I am not a leader in group discussion, but I hope there will be a leader in the group to lead me. I also try to speak in groups, but most of time I was a listener, maybe I was not sure of my own answers, so I listened to others’ speeches to make me more thoughtful. 
I will turn on the camera during the group discussion, because it is a kind of respect to the group members. Since it is an online course, we should communicate more. Although I am not a leader in group discussions, I am willing to try to participate in group discussions. This semester, from week one to now, I have tried to speak in every class or group discussion. I think I have made progress in this aspect, because I did not like to speak in the previous class. So I am trying to overcome my own difficulties.
