The Purewick external female catheter is an innovation that provides alternate incontinence management for female patients. 
This device is placed between the gluteal cleft and labia and then conected to low continuous suction. Frequently, incontinent patients have indwelling catheters placed in order to obtain an accurate output. This product allows for output monitoring without the associated risk of causing an urinary tract infection. 
This product also provides the possibility of allowing bed bound patients to possibly live at home for longer periods. When their caregivers are elderly, the amount of physical demand required to change a dependent patient every couple of hours may be too much. But managing the catheter system and repositioning patient could possibly be more manageable. I ownership of my portion of the project and help keep the group accountable. I will be able to not only work as a part of the group but independently as well. My next strength is relator. I will be able to create group cohesiveness. I am also a learner. I catch on quickly and will able to push the group to think outside of the box due to my drive to discover new information.
Another strength I have is focus. I am good at setting goals and helping the group stay on track to achieve those goals. My final strength is command. I am driven and organized. I will be able to help lead the group and give clear, concise direction.
