It integrates well with Google Docs and is a great way to keep organized and track student progress. This resource is very useful to the Call Center because it provides different articles containing tips for blended learning, remote learning, google resources, and more and the call center could use it to help answer a customer’s question or could direct the customer to the resource if they would like to have access to the helpful articles.

The LINCS is a community of practice for adult education to share, collaborate, or participate in events or just learn from different education professionals.  This site also provides professional development for adult educators in self-paced online courses.  In addition, it also has resources you can filter and search for if you would like to get more familiar in a particular subject.

LINCS has a technical assistance and professional development team.  They focus on building knowledge for educators with adult education agencies in technology.  They have different tiers to to better understand different trainings they can provide. 

I feel this can be very useful as we are still learning different technical support issues with our students and instructors.  If we are unable to get answers, we can always send our questions to the state professionals and see if they can provide us a resource or answers.  This will give us a lot more technology knowledge.

EdTech Center World Education are professionals who design or implement best practices in technology.  This organization designs programs/resources like professional developments, digital libraries such as articles, online courses, or webinars to revamp technology implementation in adult education programs. 
These resources are very useful to share with other program administration and staff to see what resources they would like to learn and implement.

Shared my favorite vid since the pandemic began to motivate students to register for our classes.

IDEAL Consortium
 
IDEAL Consortium is part of Education Technology World Education that helps any registered member to implement the quality of distance and blended learning by offering professional development, technical support, and networking with different professionals in the United States.  They offer resources to understand and improve the programming of blended and distance learning.  Some of these programs we currently use in our DL curriculum are from different states.  

Learning from different programs is always good in my books!

Shake up Learning

This site offers free resources for remote instruction.  I have previously used this site to provide information to my instructors.  You can find online training (self-paced, downloadable pdfs, videos, tips, and more on different Google applications and tools along with technology applications.  I have really loved this site.  The tips and videos come in handy as they show you how to use the application. There is always something new to learn.  This site has provided so many practical and user-friendly ideas on how to use or better use of the application.

DL Community of Practice

This community is open to any adult educator who works in a Texas Approved Distance Learning curriculum.  This will give us the opportunity to share ideas with other programs or get feedback on any inquiries we might have.  The resources are very useful when we are doing the DL Academy training.  It referrers us to see the community of practice and discuss with others or provide an insight on what we are doing as a program for example the use of flyers or what applications we are using.

This is very useful as we are working with every program in Texas and getting an idea of what others are working with. In addition, refer other teachers to this site to discuss with other programs.
