Neutrally - is it not beneficial for children especially eal, to recognise facial expressions and tones in voice change to relay the message that you are trying to get across to them.

For example- a child hurts another child,

You explaining that this is not okay should not involve facial expressions of upset or shock?

Is it relevant for when we don't know the children well? E.g. Children we don't teach during break duty.

The point made that recognition that a dysregulated child needs to calm before addressing an issue is important.

And when they are calm including them in identifying the unsolved problem that caused the behaviour and possible solutions also really important. Thank you for the positive approach.
