The trumpet sounds are extremely significant in this piece. The pitch of the music is consistently high with small sections of low notes played. The overall dynamics of this piece is forte and getting louder towards the middle of the piece before getting quieter towards the end. The start of the music starts out slow but gets faster to allegro towards the middle of the piece. The harmony is in a major key which gives the piece an uplifting mood. As the bell-like sound at the start created a scene where the day had just began and the faster tempo towards the middle created a climax where there were difficulties in the journey. In this piece, the brass instruments play an important role. At the start of the piece, the trumpet, horn and trombone lead the melody. The trumpets had a higher pitch while the horn and trumpet had a lower pitch. Towards the middle of the song, the violin becomes more significant and it led the melody with the brass instruments. The violin and the trumpet played a higher pitch while the other brass instruments had a lower pitch. The dynamics of the piece is generally loud. It was softer at the start and it got louder towards the middle.  The tempo of the piece is  accelerando as the start was slow then it got faster towards the middle of the song. The bell-like sound at the end had a much faster tempo compared to the start and the piece ended smoothly with the instruments dragging the last note. The harmony in this piece is consonant. The repeated "ding" at the start represented the countdown to the start of an event. Subsequently, there was a repetitive sequence of notes and also a gradually faster tempo indicating the difficulties the person was momentarily facing. This was further enhanced by the crescendo dynamics towards the middle of the piece after a slightly quiet start. Generally, the melody had a higher pitch. The tempo was accelerando, beginning slower and becoming faster towards the end. The harmony of the piece creates a majestic atmosphere and that there is a chain of difficulties to overcome. I imagined a boxer in the changing room, nervous for his next match. Tension filled the room even though the match had barely started. As the wind and percussion instruments came in, it was though the boxer had a sudden rush of confidence. Filled with determination, he strutted out the changing room and made his way to the ring. The sudden crescendo of instruments was similar to the crowd cheering, not just for him, but is opponent as well. When the Rallentando kicks in, we can see the boxer focusing on his opponent, determined to win.

The piece starts out softly and slowly just like how an adventure set sails smoothly. As the music pace increases and gets louder, it feels as if the person journeyed on the adventure with curiosity despite of unknown dangers. Nearing the climax, the piece becomes crescendo and accelerando, the mood of the music tenses up as if the person is closer to a  discovery in the adventure. The background is form with a few orchestra  instruments. At the start it started slowly however there Is a soft yet fast tempo beat in the background which is most likely caused by the violin. The dynamics is generally loud as as soon as the music started it became louder and louder until the drums came in. I imagined this whole part as a grand opening before going to war. The knight leading the soldiers out of the castle preparing to fight with confidence. When the sound of trumpets could be heard I imagined that a war has begun. It was very intense with all the musical instruments at The background as I felt that the music has a very strong and tough beat. Towards the end it became softer. When I heard the bell-like sound I imagine that they have won the war and they had all their  drained. As the note drag to the end I imagined a scene that they were relieved they won and it was over finally. The first part of the piece had a "ring" sound which represents the start of the surgery. As the piece develops, there are more layers of instruments such as violin - the background music, as well as different woodwind instrument like trumpet. Percussion was added too.The tempo became faster compared to the start of the piece. This represents the doctors having difficulties while operating on the patient. The fast tempo of the middle part of this piece made the atmosphere more tense and it symbolises how the doctors panick while trying their very best to save he patient's life. The middle part of this piece seemed more lively compared to the start of this piece. As the song develops further, the tempo gets faster and faster, with the violin as the melody with some choir in between. Almost at the end of this piece, low-pitch drums were used to mark the success of the doctors. The pitch at first was low i feel that this shows the lady escaping with fear at the start. However later in the song the instrument changed and and turned in to a lively instrument  the purcussion and this point of time the lady escaped the monster but was still continue to run , she was feeling happy thus the music style turned happier. As the music starts off pianissimo, I picture a spy creeping around searching for his enemy in his hideout. As the music gradually gets louder and the brass instruments come in, the spy starts to fight bodyguards. As the tempo starts to accelerando, it shows the growing intensity of the mission. When the strings become more prominent, he has found his enemy and is fighting him. As the brass instruments goes fortissimo, he's outside of the church still fighting, on the brink of giving up, but he then sees his wife, hanging on the edge of a cliff by a rope. The vocals that come in represent her screams for help. He gives one last look at her and falls onto the ground, witnessing her fall to her death, and as the piece goes back to mp, the bells are ringing again, symbolising that all is quiet once more.]]> 2017-09-14 15:22:17 UTC https://padlet.com/nhhsmusic/203208/wish/187612417 https://padlet.com/nhhsmusic/203208/wish/191200901 immediately when the music from trumpet started playing i just thought of the old chinese films that my parents liked to watch. but as the music soon progressed to became more fast, the tempo was faster and then it reminded me of scenes in a spy or detective movie like james bond and the spy trying to escape from the enemies. nearing to the end of the music, violins could be heard playing high pitched melodies with vocals in the background. it really reminded me of the music from all the happy marriage and good ending scenes from movies where people would live happily ever after. it would be that the spy manages to escape the enemies and is able to live with his lover happily ever after.

The man then spots someone following him and walks faster,increasing the tempo of the music.
It reaches the climax when he starts running and the others follow, creating a loud climax with many layers. The song gets softer as he slowly pulls away from the baddies.
This piece is very well layered with a climax and a slow crescendo towards it. This creates suspense and excitement leading to the peak. It starts out soft then gets louder toward the climax then softer again.
