In his music he basically tells you what its like growing up in Baton Rouge. He also lets you know what he went through growing up after his father’s death living with his mother and 6 other siblings. I relate to him because I grew up listening to all his music and being from the same state and type of environment.

I think that him going to jail, doing his time, made him a better person when he came out. He came out better than he was before he went in and it made more people want to hear what he had to say in his songs. He always says in his songs that he wish he wouldn’t have done what he did, but he learned from his mistakes.

Based on this, I think that he has gotten bigger since his release. He has also made bigger business moves. I think that him being in jail for 8 years gave him time to think about what he would do better when he gets out. He now has many more people supporting him than he did when he first went to jail.

I think that this goes to show that he takes his career very seriously. He is doing everything that no one would every think of him doing, especially starring in an Hollywood movie working with very big people in the movie industry.
