Students will learn about how laws are made. There are multiple components to the legislative branch: congress, the senate and the house of representatives. 

I think a struggle I would have is how I can incorporate this into a younger classroom setting. I will make sure students understand the powers of the president, the vice president and the cabinet. 

I think a struggle I would have is making sure students stay on task. I want students to understand that while their parents have political views that I am just trying to educate them on the importance of understanding how executive orders are made. I want students to understand the importance of the supreme court and other federal courts. 

A struggle I might have with this are finding age appropriate cases that can help explain exactly what the supreme court does without deeply delving into decision making from the supreme court.
