Tita jojie ... bilang choir head ng ilaya? For me she is a "knight" works with honor, strength and might but with compassion, gentleness and love.  Sugarcoating? Wala sa vocabulary ni tita yun sasabihin nya ang dapat marinig not to destroy a person but to make him a better one.  I myself experienced " the wrath" but at the end of the day i didn't wish otherwise simply because it made me better.

You really took time to talk to me and convinced me to go back to service ( as a choir member) coz that time feeling ko wala na ' kong time para magserve sa mass dahil sa busy schedule ko. And then You came and the rest is history. 
 Three(3) good things about you:
1. A WOMAN with a GOOD HEART - Kahit naiinis na at papunta na sa galit dahil sa makululit na choir members ( late, hindi makasabay sa kanta , minsan hindi sineseryoso ang praktis โœŒ๏ธ) still , nandun pa rin yung pag-aasikaso , pag-aalaala sa mga birthdays or special occassions . Dun makikita at marardaman ang totoong pagmamal ng isang leader. 
2. A TRUE LEADER - Inaalam at hinahanda nya lahat ng kakailanganin ng choir bago sumalang sa misa. 
3. SUPPORTIVE - Mula sa piyesang  kakantahin sa misa , sa costume na gagamitin ( pag me concert) at sa bawat praktis ng choir...nanjan ka Ate Jogie para suportahan kami ...binubusog mo kami sa masasarap na pagkain sa hapag ninyo at higit sa lahat sa PAGMAMAHAL mo sa amin hindi lng bilang choir kundi bilang KAPAMILYA .

In terms of discipline and advices during the rehearsal, whatever your age is, be ready! because sheโ€™s armed at all points ๐Ÿ˜„โœŒ๐Ÿผ. She always make it a point to us that whenever we serve, make sure that the community or the congregationโ€™s can sing along during mass. Tita Jogie wantโ€™s us to become what we sing.  Desciveness: She wonโ€™t let us strike up if theres a dilemma or conflict situation. One more thing is humility, by lifting others up unselfishly. She congratulates me every time I achieve something in school.  I was a shy girl when I first joined the choir. I even wanted to quit even though it was just the first practice I attended but tita Jogie's motherly approach removed the shyness out of me. Not only she removed that, but she also helped me improve myself in so many ways. She gave me opportunities to help me improve my singing. Every workshop and seminar I attended was because of her and I am very grateful for that.

I remember the first time I sang the responsorial Psalm, I was afraid because I wasn't really confident with my voice. She gave me pointers on what I should avoid and what I should sustain. Those pointers allowed me to improve and be a better servant of the lord. 

She never pressured us to do things perfectly but she encouraged us to do our best. I messed up so many times but she never said anything that would make me feel bad about myself. Instead, she tells me that I should give my all on the next mass. After all, everyone has room for improvement. 

Thank you so much tita Jogie for helping me grow and become a better version of myself. Straightforward siya magsalita but in a good way. You will learn something from it. Dahil alam niya 'yung bawat kakayahan ng mga members.

I am blessed that Tita Jogie is our choir head kasi marami akong natutunan. Pantay pantay 'yung treatment niya sa amin, no matter what your age is. Minsan nakikipag biruan pa talaga siya. During rehearsals, she always joins us and she's very strict lalo na 'pag may mali.

Sobrang thank you for everything, tita Jogie! Grabe 'yung support mo po sa amin and 'yung pagmamahal sa choir. Thank you po sa walang sawang pag-aalaga and pag-aasikaso sa amin kahit na minsan ay may pagkapasaway.

We were very lucky na sya yung naging choir head namin. Mukha man syang mataray pero try nyo umattend ng practice namin mas marami pa tawanan kaysa kantahan.  Straight forward man magsalita but you know that she care. I appreciate her as nanay of ilaya choir. She always encourages us to do our best and to be a better person. Nanay Jogie being palaban is something that I admire.  She always assure na ok ang choir. She protects Ilaya Choir na parang mga anak nya. Nanay Jogie is so generous. In every aspect napakagenerous nya hindi lang sa pyesa pati sa life lessons. Also their personal money for pyesa. Their house is a place for all haha open for meeting, for chikahan, and for practices. I remember, a lot of times sinasabi ko na magpapahinga muna ako sa choir for 1 month and never kong nagawa kasi bukod sa service isa si nanay jogie sa mga reason. I realize na sobrang swerte namin as a choir member kasi sobrang effort nya para sa choir. Imagine may magtuturo na, may place, may pyesa na ang kailangan mo nalang gawin ay umattend ang lahat ng yan dahil sa effort nya. She's one of the people who helped me to improve.
