The selma march was one of the more important things to come about. The reason its important is because it gave the world a taste of the African American resolve. The march was from Montgomery to selma and the amount of people was 54. Only 54 people joined in hands to contest the African American segregation. the Selma March was also important because it was another turning point for African American rights and MLK. MLK brought all these people together and marched with them which was very important. He was the key component to make this whole march thing work.
