From being a little kid going to the farm with my grandma, to being included all the 4-H activities, and then in high school FFA. I can honestly say being in all these activities has changed me and sheets means the person I am today. I’m an empathetic person who’s skilled at relating to people and making them feel heard. Ever since, I could remember I have wanted to be involved in group activities. It took me a while to learn how to not be shy around people I did not know but now I learned how to be outgoing. 

 

I’m thorough and tenacious. When I am on a project, I keep track of the details. Because I have a comprehensive understanding of the components, I can spot the essentials and rigorously advocate for them to meet deadlines.

A pattern I’ve noticed throughout my career is that I often feel I could have done more, even if objectively, I’ve done well. Earlier in my career, this led to burnout and negative self-talk. One solution I’ve implemented over the years is to actively pause and celebrate my achievements. Not only has this helped my own self-esteem, it has helped me genuinely appreciate and recognize my team and other support systems.

 

I’m naturally shy. From high school and into my early professional interactions, it prevented me from speaking up. I learned practical skills around leading discussions and sharing diverse perspectives. Now, in group settings, I always start conversations with the quieter folks. I know exactly how they feel, and people can be amazing once they start talking.”

As you can see on my resume I have over 5 years of experience dealing with our family business customers, but what I think really sets me apart from other candidates and will make me a valuable addition to your team is my ability to combine that with my people skills.
