The Nano PD was interesting and interactive. By giving empirical examples it shows if a Central Idea is strong or in need to be improved.

The central idea needs a very good connection between concepts and facts. Te review is a tool to make our best as IB educators.

This NanoPd is a great tool to explore and learn more about the importance of the central idea in a unit of inquiry. It gives valuable insights not only for educators new to IB but also review and refresh the knowledge of more IB PYP experienced educators.

I have been using these materials since last week, displaying them on my whiteboard after printing them out. In my classes, we've had reflective discussions with students at the end of each task. These conversations have helped them not only recognize the differences, also appreciate the value of the process. They now understand how feedforward steps guide them through it, enhancing their learning experience.

The concept-idea of feedforward is important and relevant for students that are used to work independently and have developed good skills on the learning process. Taking the feedback from the teacher or/and classmates is important to know where the student is, what has he achieved, what does he need to improve, what is good to keep. The second step might be forwarding this feedback in other ways of learning and experience.
