SMCC innovative ideas & Pgms and smallest college and other bigger colleges take and do well with the programs. RSCC & GWCC have a program that we came up with ideas and they take it and run with it and put resources into it to make it successful.
We are open to ideas and off the wall ideas and going out to see if something works.
Students enjoy us as a smaller campus and don't get lost in the shuffle, but resources are not available like the bigger campuses. Students get frustrated when classes are cancelled due to low enrollment and enjoy the smaller classes.
Community is supportive, people that grew up here or live here
Small and connection between instructors and students is great. Instructors are advocates for helping students. Student workers work for us but we are also helping them and help them w/different issues.
Role that Lindsey has is great because they are put there to help the students. We are more inclined to help guide students then to just direct them where to go. We give more help to our students and will show them and tell them who to go see, both faculty and staff.
