Tonight our special guest is Veiga, who will be talking with us about music, as we always do! How are you?
Veiga: Very well, thank you. It's a pleasure being here with you. I am nervous and excited to see how it goes.
Gabriel: Well, so let's start today's podcast by asking you how does music affect your life?
Veiga: Personally, music its quite notable un my everyday's routine, because I always hear yo the radio when I'm going by car, and I usually hear music to be entertained while I do some stuff at home. I also think that without music everything would be a lot more boring, because in my opinion, a long trip by car without music, it would be terrible.
Gabriel: Yeah, I agree with you. Passing yo the next question, let me ask you which song or songs have influenced you the most?
Veiga: I think there are two songs that come to my mind which have been very remarkable for me and I will always remember them. The first one is "Colors", which was launched in 2018. This song talks about two topics, which are, in my opinion, perfectly mixed. These two are the human rights, and that year's World Cup. The song's main objective is to end racism, and to achieve this, the song talks about allí the countries in the world supporting their national team in the World Cup, combined with the wish of ending racism, which is expressed in the song by telling the people that we are all equal no matter your skin colour. Apart from being a great song, I love the message it sends, and that's why its one of my choices.
Gabriel: And who is the singer?
Veiga: Its Jason Derulo, which is one of my favorite singers.
Gabriel: How did you discover this song?
Veiga: I first heard it on the FIFA 18 videogame's soundtrack, and I loved it.
Gabriel: Which is the other song you are going yo be talking about?
Veiga: The second song is "Stay with me", but not the one from Sam Smith, this one is produced by Calvin Harris and singed by Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Halsey. I chose it because I love the rhythm and it transmits, in my opinion great vibes. The lyrics doesn't talk about something similar to the previous song, it's about love, not about social problems or football.
Gabriel: They seem quite good, but now let me ask you something, do you usually listen to them?
Veiga: I don't listen to them very often, but I still think they are incredible songs. In fact, I think I have listened to Stay with me recently, although It was something casual.
Gabriel: We are reaching the end of today's podcast, so let me ask you a final question, how do those songs make you feel?
Veiga: I must say that both songs make me feel the same way, they make me very happy and its very enjoyable listening yo them.
