Some major film techniques used in this scene were colors, music, and the zoom out of the camera. Since the scene is happy and sweet, they use bright landscapes and clothes to portray this. Also, they used happy music and had it slowly build up to be more effective. Lastly, they zoomed out and cut their voices so you could just focus on how happy they look while playing tetherball.

The lyrics to the song directly correlated with what happened earlier in the movie, and helped show what the people were thinking. They also used good transitions when they would go back and forth with flashbacks.

They play the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams and that kinda manipulates because we all know the grinch is not happy. Another film technique would be the setting because it shows how it always is in whoville and it is a happy place.

During the fight the music was epic. When Harry was winning, the music was more heroic. Than When Voldemort disintegrates the music is sad and peaceful.
-Another technique is the setting. There was an overcast of skies while the battle was going on which generated a gloomy setting. Then when Harry wins, the sun burst through the clouds and shines over all the destruction.

Another technique used is the clever use of lighting so that in this particular scene, the two characters fulfilling the plot are brought out by lighting, instead of those keeping the background music, or other rather insignificant backgrounds that help continue the plot.

At first, there is quiet, sad music as she wakes up, changing as she realizes what has happened. The blue lighting of the scene also makes it seem sad. Finally, we are aware before she is of what has happened. We know what he did to Maleficent, and know how bad it must hurt to realize that she was betrayed by the only human she loved. The pure pain can be heard in her screams, both physical and emotional.

The confidence of the man shows that he is not afraid of a silly scorpion or anything. He then goes inside and finishes the sentence before his wife, setting a racing tone. The music the whole time has been building the tention and now the r8's loud v12 spilts the tension in half.

One key technique used in this scene is the directors use of colors and the sounds playing behind it. During the first fight scene, you see the evil characters turn into a black vapor as they fly around. Black is obviously the color used to represent evil and this wold not be as dramatic without using the color black. The audio is also very important in grabbing the attention of the audience and giving it a more intense feel to it. They use fast paced music and loud noises when the fights are going on and when Black dies, everything turns silent and they put us in Harry's perspective of heartache.

The film uses lighting to add to the grandness of the scene and the rising danger in the scene. Through the use of neon colors and darkness, it portrays the fact that bright colors in animals often signify danger, like poison dart frogs or the glowing bulbs of an angler fish. The size of the crab is also meant to illustrate his strength and grandness. The scene also uses his singing to add a dramatic exposition of Maui's backstory.

This ad for American Sniper uses camera angles as one of the techniques during the entire trailer/scene. At the beginning of the trailer it shows just the legs of the enemy and it slowly moves closer to the enemies face to add suspense in the movie. These camera angles and zooming in and out provide greater suspense and bigger scenes for viewers to get on edge.

This ad is a classic. It uses gentle music and camera movements to lure you into a false sense of security before the zombie pops up. It uses vibrant colors and everything seems so serene until that one bit happens. Long story short, the commercial uses music, color, lighting, and camera movements to lure the viewer into a false sense of security so the jumpscare hits harder.

The film uses the lighting to make everything seem dark and gloomy but when he gives the kid the seed for the tree, it starts to lighten up a little bit. Along with the music, when he's telling the kid the story, it's very sad sombre music and then when he gives the kid the seeds for the tree it starts to get more lighthearted.
