Reapers- Allowed faster harvesting of crops. Increased production of agricultural resources. Over harvesting of land, was a major effect.
Cotton Gins- Used for "cleaning" cotton, making it ready for use, faster than hand picking spurs out. (more crops= able to provide for greater populations of people).
Laborers- More innovations created more workplaces, like factories. And more factories resulted in an increase in job production. With the availability of more jobs, that resulted in more people wanted to immigrate over to America, and with an increase of immigration lead to an increase of availability of jobs. 
Women- There was a decrease in the demand for "homemade" goods. Increase in familial bonds. Factories did have widespread benefits; for laborers and households alike. Though while the households gain mass productions of goods, laborers gained more. They gained more opportunities for jobs, which in turn lead to better potentials for good lives, increased efficiency (increase in money brought in.) However, in means of ways women benefited from this change, was that with the emphasis on children needing an education, there were more educational opportunities for women, so they could help the children in their homes. There was also the formation of societies for women. This change was negative to women in means of them being considered items and mere status boosters essentially to functions solely within the household. But first the subject must be approached subjectively. the "new family" consisted of smaller families, in which each child could be attended to individually (versus caring for children in a generalized/ detached manner). Sought to shape the wills of children and lead them to make good decisions based upon moral judgement. Yet, also restricted the abilities of women; limiting to solely being able to be house-makers, and portrayed them as weak. Therefore, in the sense of producing more ethical/ educated children, it was effective. Which were essentially large conglomerations of people, listening to preaching and speeches given by religious officials, and converting religions based upon the spiritual events revealed to them during the events. Similarly to the Great Awakening, in which many of the speeches delivered scared the people into converting to a religion; for the benefit of not going to hell. The different between the two, is that with the second great awakening, people were called to a religion on their own volition. Seeking out the white men, so that the idea of dismissing women seeking equal rights or any form of authority would widely be accepted as a joke. And it also target the women rally behind the ideas of equal rights and organizing all these meetings, in hopes of rattling them. 
The purpose being a public dismissal of the validity of women's rights. To affirm that men are superior to women in all instances.
