-It had a population of 10 million people
-The Empire had an area of 900,000 km.
-They were master builders. Creating massive administrative centers, temples, and extensive road and canal systems.
-The Empire started to rise in the fifteenth century.
-According to the legend the Incas emerge from a cave called Tambo Toco. Having in the start four brothers and four sisters.
-The Incas first settle in Cuzco around 1200 CE.
-They were a small kingdom until 1438.
-Pachacuti expanded the kingdom with battles against neighbors' cities. 
-The Spanish conquistadors killed Atahualpa and destroyed the capital city.
-In 1572 the Spanish conquistadors had destroyed all remaining resistance along with much of the Incas’ physical and cultural legacy. 
-The Inca empire fell even faster than it had risen.
