Laws are set into place not to control the people but to make sure that the citizens of America are safe and that everyone's rights are being allowed to them. Like a school has rules laws have to be set so that there isn't destruction. America has laws like freedom of speech where in other countries they aren't allowed to speak out against issue or topic. We also have laws that limit government control so it does not become a Tyranny.

Much of North Korea's law aren't too different from the United States. They punish people for crimes that break laws and enforce them strictly. However North Korea is also a country covered in mystery. Isolated from much of the world, there is a lot about North Korea that most people simply do not know. One of the more unusual and unknown elements of North Korea are the strange laws that control its society. These unusual laws range from their citizens being limited to certain haircuts, needing permission to live in the capital (pyongyang), the government controlling the airwaves limiting the citizens to 3 channels to choose from, being serverly punished and sometimes killed for having a bible, and many more.
