What I do is find some kind of project that looks fun and do-able, see what part of a curriculum it fills, than try to make it with the kids. For example, we did paper airplanes and&nbsp; while this is SUPER simple, it filled requirements in Science AND ADST.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Starting with Curriculum</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What works often for me is to look at what is required in a different curriculum first.&nbsp; For example... right from the grade 7 Physical Ed curriculum:<br>"<strong>effects of different types of physical activity on the body"</strong><br>What I would do is choose teams to work on a specific muscle group. They would research the muscles, explore current ways of working those muscles and research, design&nbsp; and build a machine to exercise those muscles. ADST used as a way of supporting and reinforcing another curriculum!<br><br></div>]]></description>
