Families get together annually during Halloween time to celebrate the lives of their loved ones who have past on. This tradition has been a norm for as far as I can remember in the Hispanic culture. The pictures of the loved ones who have past on are placed on display on an altar along with candles and other decorations to honor them. It is believed that the spirits of our loved ones displayed on the altar will come visit for that night. It represented woman's rights and equality. People either obey the laws and regulations or suffer the consequences. There are many people who choose to behave irresponsibly and break the law which then can leave innocent people harmed or even killed.
