Firstly we can see a lot of movement the vein-like lines of the cabbage, this makes me look all over the cabbage while looking at just one spot. This connects to another principle of design, pattern. The way the crisp and clear lines of the cabbage all are similar and in a pattern really stands out to the eye and makes it look almost not realistic. Finally the contrast with the background and of how we a cabbage would look.
