So,this first week of learning for success online course has been very interesting and educative.This session was to improve my teaching practice and approaches I could use to interact with my learners. I've had the opportunity to follow the educators and share my thoughts and comments with other learners.During this first week,I've got the chance to review the difference between "intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.One which comes from the learners themselves and the other from external sources.I've also learned about different ways of getting to know my learners and different techniques to get acquainted with my students and what and how to motivate them in the very beginning. I liked Jingli's approach a lot and I think I will often use it.
I got to hear and learn the word "Rapport in action and ways to build rapport" for the first time and this approach really excites me.An approach that I will create a bond between me and students.
Also learned other approaches in getting learners to speak and build their confidence.
This week's learning is been very fruitful and insightful and I am looking forward to next week's session.
