So the conclusion is the adab is not only about our outward manners, but also about having the right intention, respecting our teachers, and being consistent in learning. The Qur’an is special compared to other books because it will remain until the Day of Judgment as our guidance, so we need to respect it. In the end, learning with adab brings blessings and reminds us that we are Allah’s servants.

🌟 My reflection from week 1-6 🌟

Week 1: taught me the true meaning of adab that it’s not just about having good manners on the outside, but also about purifying our intentions, respecting our teachers, and being sincere in learning. It reminded me that the Qur’an is not an ordinary book that it’s a guide that will remain with us until the end of time.

Week 2: I learned how worship and learning are connected. Through the Hadith of Jibril, I understood that learning requires sincerity and purity, just like worship. Acts such as prayer, zakat, fasting, and hajj train us to stay humble, grateful, and close to Allah

Week 3: I gained a deeper understanding of iman (faith). Having faith means fully trusting Allah’s mercy and wisdom in everything that happens. I also realized that believing in angels and the divine book helps me become more aware of my actions, since everything I do is recorded.

Week 4: reminded me about the Hereafter and that life in this world is temporary. Everything we do will be judged, so it pushed me to focus more on doing good and following the guidance of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. I also learned to trust Allah’s Qada’ and Qadar, and to find peace in whatever He has planned for me.

Week 5: I learned about ihsan is doing our best in everything, especially in worship and how we treat others. It made me realize the importance of kindness, respect, and prayer for our parents. The discussion about the Day of Judgment also reminded me to always be prepared with good deeds and a sincere heart.

Week 6: Taught me that adab goes beyond manners and it’s also shown through our speech, attitude, and patience. The story of Prophet Ibrahim really inspired me to always show respect, even in disagreement, and to do da’wah with wisdom and calmness.

My hope after joining this usrah is to keep practicing everything I have learned and apply it in my daily life. I want to improve my adab, sincerity, and relationship with Allah, not just through words but through actions. I also hope to share the knowledge and good values I’ve gained with others, especially my family and friends, so that they too can benefit from it. InshaAllah, I will continue to strive to become a better Muslim, to seek knowledge with humility, and to spread goodness wherever I can.

What I learned this week is that Zakah is a compulsory duty in Islam that purifies our wealth and soul. Unlike the optional Sadaqah, Zakah has a fixed structure that every Muslim must follow. It builds Tawakkul by teaching us to rely only on Allah’s promise to increase our rizq. Socially, it strengthens Ukhuwwah by removing selfishness and helping us care for those in need. This duty balances our Vertical relationship with Allah and our Horizontal bond with the community. Ultimately, Zakah creates a united society where everyone looks out for each other
