Link: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/freshwater/freshwater-crisis/
Author: Freshwater Crisis-National Geographic

Summary: This Article is about how the earth has a limited amount of water, and how the competition for this clean water increases each year, as more and more water gets polluted and as more people are born. It is is about how much of the Earth's Water is actually drinkable, and how much freshwater is actually usable, which is actually only 0.3% if all freshwater, and only 3% of the earth's water is freshwater, meaning that only 0.007% of the Earth's water is actually freshwater, that is easy to access for us. Its also says how the water is not distributed evenly across the world. Its says that the water use in America has been increasing, and that we should try our best to conserve and distribute the water evenly, and the main idea is that we should conserve water, because we use too much.
(note: The author's name is NOT mentioned in the article)

South African city running low on water, may impose strict limits by Agence France-Presse.

Summary: This article is about why it is so important to save water and how you save it. The people of Cape Town have been in a huge drought causing the wells to dry up. That means that there will not be much usable water left. When they used too much water and didn't stop using it, they shut offed the water calling this "day zero." People were only allowed to use 6.5 gallons per person each day. It was difficult to chose whether to do this or that. But this system hasn't worked that well. Only half of the people are following this rule. Soon all the water is going to run out if there is no rain soon. A central idea in this article is that they needed a way to conserve more water. One main idea is that from they learned how to conserve their water well. Another main idea is if you don't conserve water well then you won't be able then you won't be able to survive normally. The final main idea is that even though they were in that situation they were able to ration their water well.
